I had 3 or 4 of the Rubbermaid Brilliance 9.6 cup containers, but was down to one, and it was on it’s last legs. Those containers are nice, but develop cracks easily. So, I was looking for similar rectangular containers to replace them as I do like the Rubbermaid product, just not the longevity….or rather, lack thereof. I also didn’t like the price of the Rubbermaids as they are, IMHO, overpriced for the quality related to the early breakdowns. (I also had a lot of the other sizes, and every one of those has followed the same path of cracking either in the container, or the lid, or both)After looking for a while, I found these. The price point is good, the size, while a tad smaller than the Rubbermaid, is still plenty big, especially for the two of us. The lids seal well, and keep food fresh in the fridge. Another thing I noticed in using them, is nothing sticks to them. I made a cheesy casserole the other night, and reheated the leftovers in one of these. As I served it, I noticed that nothing stuck to the container, it all nicely slid out without leaving the usual cheesy goo behind as happens with basically all the other containers of every brand we’ve had. That’s not a deal breaker, just a nice surprise.I’ve washed them in the dishwasher multiple times and have had no issues (we have a Bosch dishwasher that dries dishes in a different way; I can’t say how they’d do in one that has a heated dryer).While I haven’t had these that long, it’s only been about two months, I have used them quite a bit and really like them. I can’t yet speak to the longevity of the containers, but they are sturdily made and seem like they’ll last quite a while. I even plan to look at others in this line to replace some other containers we have that are showing signs of dying.Overall, a good product, at a great price so I recommend them.

I love SNAPWARE products. I like the option of sizes you can get, and these bigger ones are going to be my stack of baking goodies. i.e. sugar, flour, etc. I LOVE THEM. I’ve just gotten sick of the space wasted in “tapered” canisters … ANY kind of tapering!! IT ALL TAKES UP SPACE. These containers are perfect in every which way you use them. I have the smaller ones (LOTS OF THEM) for nuts, rice, oatmeal, cookies, leftovers, you name it. Keeps the cupboards NEAT and ORGANIZED and easy access. They are a nice thick plastic, the lids snap perfectly and are not flimsy to break off, and I love BLUE. What can I say. They check all my boxes …

I am absolutely in love with these containers, they look modern they feel nice, they clean well and they store pretty decent all things considered.I love how they don’t leak I like how they stack and the bowls nest nicely when stored. The lids of the same sizes nest nicely as well however they are slightly larger for storing because of the snaps. The no leak factor is more important than the storage factor for me. Especially when it comes to storing things in the refrigerator. I hate finding mystery messes because something got tipped and spilled and leaked and dripped all over. Gross. I have not had that happen at all with these containers. I have the large ones the smaller ones of this same shape and a small set with round, square and rectangular bowls. To keep them looking nice I do not use them in the microwave. I don’t know how they would hold up dude regular microwaving as I’m tired of seeing all my previous plastic storage containers turn cloudy with those funky “I’ve been microwaved” spots. I’m just not willing to do that to my beautiful snapware. They say that they are freezer microwave and dishwasher safe. I highly recommend they are very great storage containers.

I received the 2 pack (8.5 cup) snapware set promptly in the mail. It was well packaged, and it definitely made well.. good quality material; however, my fault for not knowing exactly how big the 8.5 cup size would be.. somehow I pictured it being twice as long. I need a much larger storage container, so I began to process the return. Much to my surprise, “the company” said no need to return, and the refund was processed! I will definitely be ordering the larger size from this same company. Not having the hassle of the return was a bigger deal to me than it would be for some, as I live a couple hours away from the nearest town.
