Good value for whats in it
Like a lot of people say, this is hard to mix up without clumps. Itâs true. However, I purchased the Helimix 2.0 shaker and it mixes this up very well. It has a tiny bit of grit to the shake but it is not clumpy. Iâve used a regular blender as well which couldnât get all the clumps out. The consistency is a bit on the thinner side. I like my protein shake to be a little thicker. The taste is alright, not awful like some people have said. I use 6oz of water per scoop. The results are awesome. I have noticed the biggest change in my muscle growth since starting this powder. The creatine gives me energy, so I take it before and after my workout. It says to take it 4 times a day. I usually just take it twice a day.

Good as Gold Standard (Remember to Eat Well)
BLUF: One of the better protein powders for the price and quantity. Mid-tier flavor with an odd aftertaste, throwing some milk in fixes it. Also PSA, don’t use protein shakes as a meal replacement when you’re dieting. It’s not healthy or sustainable in the long run. Eat better food, not less food.I know we all have that moment when we look in the mirror after the morning stretch and stop to stare with that Edna Mode look of disappointment. “My God you’ve gotten fat”. You go out and buy yourself a gym membership to the local Planet Fitness, that has more joggers and jobbers than it does bench presses, and maybe even buy yourself a new set of shoes, some spandex, and a license to midlife crisis. After a month of halfhearted lifting, you make your progress and get that extra boost from the protein powder only to shelf the stuff and never touch it or a barbell ever again. Now it stares at you, with that same Edna Mode look of disappointment down from the shelf like some sort of omnipotent deity or idol manifesting from your shortcomings. Stop reading this and go for pump sessio- NO. Not THAT kind. Hit the weights, not the keyboard, and remember why you spent the money on this stuff. Any progress makes you a better man (or woman, or whatever you want to be) than you were yesterday.

Delicious, Mixes Well, but Creatine Amount is Tricky
I usually go for chocolate protein powders, but I decided to try strawberry for the first timeâand I loved it! It mixes perfectly with both water and milk, and the formula is packed with quality ingredients.My only issue is the 3g of creatine per serving. I donât take protein powder on rest days, but I try to get 5g of creatine daily, which makes tracking my intake a bit tricky. Still, Iâm very happy with it. After trying another brand, I ended up coming back to this one!

Wow. Mixes Insanely Well
I am still relatively new to the gym and buying protein powders, but from what I have ordered, this is the best tasting powder by far. I have tried Optimum Nutrition’s Cake Batter flavored Whey, Body Fortress’s chocolate Whey, and XTend’s vanilla ice cream Whey, and this one beats all of them buy a mile.I’m not a huge fan of making protein shakes, so instead, I like to find other ways to use protein powder. I start every day with a mug of coffee from my Keurig and add in a scoop of powder. Body Fortress’s chocolate protein powder produced a lot of clumps of stubborn powder at the top of the coffee, and underneath, it didn’t really do much to make the coffee taste like a mocha. It was alright, but it definitely didn’t improve taste much. Nitro Tech, on the other hand, mixes perfectly into the coffee when stirred. There is still some of the froth at the top like Body Fortress, but it isn’t nearly as much protein powder. On top of that, it tastes amazing! After passing through the frothy layer, it tastes like I mixed 50% hot chocolate with 50% coffee! For someone who doesn’t like the taste of straight black coffee, this is an absolute win!Another use I like is to make protein pancakes! It’s easy: add half a cup of milk, two eggs, and one scoop of your desired protein powder to a shaker bottle and shake until homogenous. Then, pour onto a pan on medium heat until they are ready to flip for three light, medium sized pancakes (or one large one if you’re like me 🙂 ). Again, this powder comes out on top! The chocolate taste is a little subtle, but sweet! And it doesn’t have the clumping problem other powders have.If you are sitting on the fence about picking up this brand, I urge you: give it a try! Getting my daily protein isn’t a chore anymore thanks to this stuff, and now I can focus on more important things, like getting these gains!

Having tried a few protein powders in my time, its hit and miss getting one that both mixes well and tastes good. This fits the bill for both. Very fine powder which mixes with a hand blender in seconds with no gungy residue at the bottom. Iâm not normally a chocolate drink lover but this tasted just like my favourite chocolate bar. I got it on offer so very economical but could be a bit expensive at full price. But to be honest, the benefits are worth it.
