New favorite meal time enrichment
I love this thing. My Aussie is obsessed with it and picked up on it right away for some meal time enrichment. The battery life has been great, itâs pretty durable, and it was really easy to set up. The button works from across a large room easily and it responds quickly. Great alternative to a treat n train for those on a budget. Itâs not identical, but it does offer you some similar options for a fraction of the cost.If I had to change anything. It would be the ability to open up the food cartridge larger for cleaning and filling, and making it even more slip resistant for when the dogs get really excited with it.

Reasonably priced alternative to the Treat and Train for sport dogs
I was looking for an alternative to the Treat and Train which is pretty expensive. I only used it for the first time last night at agility class but I am impressed. I only tested it to 40 feet away but it worked reliably and I like how you can pretty easily control the number of treats dispensed. The button is a little smaller than a hockey puck. I was able to run with it in my hand ok so far but I may devise a holder for it. Tried running with it in my pocket but the button is sensitive and it was dispensing as I ran. The button emits a sound when you use it at first but if you press the small button on the bottom, you can cycle through til it is silent. The size is perfect, basically cookie jar sized and it fits easily in my training bag. It takes a USB C charger too so you don’t have to worry about carrying a proprietary charger. My dogs trained to it easily but mine love food and aren’t startled by much. I may actually restart the sound on the puck because a couple didn’t realize it dispensed and ran right past.I am probably going to buy a second one. And maybe one as a raffle prize or something.

So Much Fun!
I got this when the price was marked down around Christmas, but it is worth every penny of the regular price! It was easy to put together and came with a bit of a charge already. I have used it with varying sizes of treats and kibble and it just takes a little adjusting of the release door on the ball that spins in the unit.Training my dog to figure it out was easy. In all of 5 minutes, she knew what she had to do to get the goodies. She’s a little over-the-top about everything she does (what else would you expect from a Pittie/Lab mix, though?) And it has stood up to her very well. It’s easy to clean with a microfiber cloth and a little soapy water. It charges pretty fast, though she has never fully run the charge out. She get tired long before that happens.Charlee Bear treats work well in this as they are pretty consistent in size. Plus, they’re low calorie, so win-win!The suction cup for the button works really well on a smooth surface. Maggie chooses to bite the button (ð¤¦ð»ââï¸) and the cup and button have held up well. Never had it fall off.I would buy this again and again at the regular price. So worth it!

Great idea but
This has the potential to be a great toy/feeder for dogs, but my dog just can’t figure it out and is a little afraid of the button. We’re working on it. Her best buddy has mastered it, so I’m hoping mine can learn from her.

Great food puzzle and training tool!
Iâve only had this two days, but my dog definitely loves it. I am trying to teach my dog to do something at a distance so I wanted something I could click a button and it dispenses treats. It does this perfectly. She also enjoys it as a game. She learned to press the button with her nose in about 2 days after initially being afraid of it. The toy is easy to set up and and clean. It also charges so you donât need batteries which is great. You can also record at least one custom sound which I am hoping to use to desensitize her to the doorbell.

One dog only
I like the product, but I have two dogs. Tried to train them to use the product one at a time so if they hit the button then they get the treat but they could comprehend. So I bought a second one, thinking that if I kept them in separate rooms then the two dogs could use it and the same time but also separately. Unfortunately, this didnât work. Long story short, great product if you only have one dog. It would be very helpful if you could have the buttons set to different channels so you could have multiple dogs playing at the same time.

Good toy for the intelligent hound but could be better. My 36kg Ridgeweiller learnt it quickly and enjoys it, although having taught her to nose target previously definitely helped with this. Overall I would be happy to pay more for a heavier, sturdier, more consistent unit with larger capacity.Pros:-It mostly works as advertised.-USB rechargeable batteries in both dispenser and remote, no need to buy batteries.-Good sounds in remote and can be programmed with your own voice.Cons:-Far Too light. The photos are misleading as the toy is actually v.small. However, the tray the treats drop into is big enough for a large dog, so the size isnât specifically an issue, but the unit is v.light and can be knocked around easily. Iâve trained my dog not to do this but it feels flimsy and can be pushed/toppled easily. Better grip pads/a suction cup on the base of both the dispenser and the remote holder (curiously there IS one on base of the unprotected remote), would be a potential solution. -The kibble capacity is relatively low, essentially the volume of a tennis ball. Iâm using Purina Pro plan large athletic puppy which are 6(?)mm triangular kibbles.-Kibble isnât consistently dispensed. Sometimes you get one, sometimes 7, sometimes none which confuses the dog. Because itâs sometimes none, it teaches the dog to press the button multiple times, so mine has started doing this to collect larger amounts of kibble on each âlapâ. One solution might be a timed lock-out (5 secs?) preventing repeated button activations but this could be problematic on the times when it doesnât dispense.
