Clear imaging and easy to use
I had a Motorola baby camera previously and this baby camera and monitor just went beyond the previous product. The imaging is in color during the day and gray scaled at night while remaining clear for both, the wide range view of the camera is accurate, and the settings of the monitor are overall helpful. The audio when I speak to my child from another room is slightly muffled, but never too far and it helps that my voice can be heard momentarily. This camera is amazing nonetheless and I highly recommend it

I absolutely love this camera! I get to watch both my babies at the same time. And it even shows the temperatures in the rooms. Picture quality is great and also has night lights and sounds you can choose from for their liking. Battery lasts long!

Picture quality is top-notch. It’s not a “budget” product in my opinion, but very worth it. We bought this to replace one of those cheap cloud-based cameras that we use to monitor our cat when we’re away. Problem with that is that it takes a bit to load the app, was failing to connect 3 out of 10 times, and worst of all is that the video goes thru some server somewhere in China. I don’t mind somebody spying on our empty house with our cat in it but I do very mind somebody spying on our baby. Local is the way. This monitor is practically unhackable and video never leaves the house (technically it does a bit since the range is fantastic). Excellent picture quality and night vision, connects immediately once you turn it on. Very very worth it.

Pretty good, needs more control
After owning this baby monitor for 6 months I can say I would buy it again (great screen, good user interface and very easy to set up, works locally without an app, great battery life – 24 hours on a charge) but I would like for a little more control: the volume is controlled by button on a scale of 1-7, and with all the white noise machines we use, the lowest setting still relays the sound of the white noise machines in our nursery making the monitor too loud. Iâd like for another notch or two on the volume scale. That and I donât have control over what the camera uses during night vision as the middle tone – sometimes the reflection on my sonâs crib bars, which are white, shows too bright when I am trying to look past to see if my son is still down. When our night routine is done the last thing I enjoy is going back into my sons room to readjust the camera.

Love this monitor
Iâve had this baby monitor for about 2 months now. It replaced my Eufy monitor that repeatedly broke and I had the worst time dealing with customer service trying to get it replaced. When my Eufy monitor broke again I decided to buy this one instead and Iâm so glad I did! It works great, the picture quality is awesome, the screen is huge, and all for a good price. Last week I noticed a large spot in the middle of the monitor, almost like a water spot under the screen that couldnât be removed. I contacted customer service and they sent me a new monitor that day and was delivered in 2 days! This company has the best customer service!

Great image and useful features
Love the image quality of the cameras – and the indicator light is barely noticeable when looking at the camera in the dark – which I appreciate for minimal disruptions to sleep. Love that the monitor has a visual light to indicate audio which is helpful to be able to SEE when baby is crying in case the monitor volume needs to be lowered/off (e.g. when on a call/virtual meeting). Super cool features too, like ability to talk through the monitor, read temperature of the room, and adjust camera position using the monitor as a remote!

Update: a serious issue after 8 months of working fine
Update: weâve had the system for about 8 months now and itâs worked well until recently. One morning a few weeks ago, we woke up and realized the sound on the monitor wasnât working. We couldnât hear audio from either camera. The sound just stopped working some time during the night. We turned the monitor off and turned it back on and it began working again. It has done this a few times since and is happening more frequently. If I turn it off and turn it back on it fixes the issue, but now Iâm afraid itâs going to happen during the night and I wonât be able to hear my toddler if he wakes up crying. Iâm really disappointed :(We had an Infant Optics monitor for 6 years after purchasing it for my first-born and using it until my youngest turned 2. It finally bit the dust after years of battery issues (we basically always had to have it plugged in, even after replacing the battery more than once). It was going to cost $100 to replace just the monitor, so I decided to just go ahead and get a whole new system. Have had the Baby Sense one for a few months now and Iâve been very happy with it. I can only compare it to Infant Optics since thatâs the only other one weâve used, but it outdoes it in just about every way: picture quality, screen size, battery life. The Infant Optics was so grainy and laggy compared to this one. I love the side-by-side view of the dual cameras so I can see both kids at once. I remember reading some reviews saying that you could only have sound coming from one camera, so I was worried about that. But turns out, thatâs not the case. You can turn on scan mode and the sound will flip back and forth from each camera. I also love the VOX mode. There are only a couple of minor things that I would change. The little stand on the back that makes the monitor stand up is a solid piece of plastic. The infant optics one was more like a frame so that when I was moving it and carrying other things, I could hook my pinky through it and carry it easily. This one is harder to carry, especially when Iâm carrying other things from room to room (which I usually am). Also wish it showed a volume bar when you turn the volume up or down so you could tell what level youâre setting it to. But other than that I really do love the system and wish we had switched sooner!

I am keeping this baby monitor because it is ok, and I don’t have the energy to test a bunch of different brands/models. I wanted a video monitor that wasn’t connected to Wifi or my phone. This was recommended to me by a friend who was dissatisfied with other monitors she had tried. I was previously using a Wyze Pan Cam. For the price, I expected this monitor to be far superior in every way. Sadly, it is not. It covers the basics but falls short on all of its advertised premium features. See below.Pros:- Nice packaging- Easy set up- Monitor has a large screen with a menu that is easy to navigate.- Good sound detection on camera and loud speaker on monitor.Cons:- Compared with the Wyze camera, the overall picture resolution and night vision are inferior. The zoom function is not very useful as it is grainy with little contrast. I cannot see my baby’s chest rise and fall.- Temperature gauge is not accurate when camera is wall-mounted. It is 2-3 degrees C higher than the crib temperature.- Clock gains time (about 15 minutes per week) and has to be reset regularly.- White noise feature is not loud enough with poor sound quality, tinny and scratchy. Still using a dedicated white noise machine.- Battery does not last the whole day, even when only checking the screen for a few seconds here and there. It also takes about 8 hours to fully charge. I have to plug it in overnight. The cable has a box on it (not sure the function of this) which is heavy and awkward.I cannot speak to the following features as I have not used them.- microphone- split-screen (I only have one camera.)- long range (I live in a small apartment.)- customer service (It has been working perfectly for over a month.)Although I admittedly have not done the research, there must be less expensive monitors on the market that have basic functions with comparable quality. This monitor sadly does not meet my expectations for my purposes. Perhaps, if you have different needs, it will be just the ticket for you and your family.
