Works well
This converter is very sturdy and well made. Iâve wondered about the kettle bells that everyone raves about but didnât want to buy any more sports equipment. This adapter let me try out the concept using the weights I already had. The handle is comfortable and a good balance, thick enough to feel secure but not too thick for my wifeâs small hands. The connectors seem to adjust to fit the dumbbells in my home, Sven the NordicTrack adjustable one. Itâs a great value if you want to try kettlebells.

Very sturdy and durable. However, it doesn’t fit Select Tech dumbells.
This is a very sturdy and durable kettlebell attachment, with a metal construction. It fits my Olympic dumbbell bars. However, it does not fit my Bowflex Select Tech dumbbells, as it doesn’t close around them and doesn’t rotate. So, even though it does fit around my Olympic dumbbells, it is quite wide for kettlebell swings. The durability is nice, but the versatility and function of this isn’t.

High quality for the price
Iâm used to seeing converter handles like this with many plastic parts for much more money so I was pleasantly surprised when this arrived and I realized it was all metal. Itâs built like a tank so no worries about some brittle piece snapping off and throwing a dumbbell through a window. The handle is nice and wide which makes it really comfortable to fit two hands on it with room to spare. The locking mechanism is bulletproof and the inner foam is very dense keeping a snug grip on your dumbbells. Both my skinny and thick handles ergonomic dumbbells fit great. However, the thick straight handle of my Eisenlink adjustables is a no go. The only thing I wish this had was the ability to rotate the dumbbell 90 degrees for some exercises where you may want a narrower stance. But overall, itâs nice to have such a durable piece for this price that fits in with some of the more premium accessories in the gym while saving me hundreds of dollars and loads of space that would otherwise go toward a kettlebell set.

Really Built Nicely, But for the Long Haul?
Everything about this kettlebell handle is impressive. Its made of steel with and can accommodate different types of dumbbell handles. It fit mine very well and it had a very nice wide grip bar. The only aspect I am weary about is the screw in bolt and threads. With constant unscrewing and tightening, I feel the threading within the metal casing may wear out. Sure, this is made of metal, but I’m not convinced it is high quality steel. The grip is wide and can fit both hands for hip thrusts and KB swings. If you are in the market for something and don’t want to invest in a set of KBs, this may suffice. It feels really good in the hand and as long as you don’t accidently hit your groin with the ends of the dumbbells’ during some swings, this will work for you.

Dont Need to Buy Kettlebells
Iv’e been working with kettlebells lately at the gym and wanted to continue working at home, but I dont want to spend more money and use more space on kettlebells so I bought this converter handle to solve my problem. Yes it does work with your average dumbell bars but obviously its not the same shape. If you can workout with a larger profile kettlebell then this may be for you. The dumbells stick out more because of the bar, so doing certain movements is not doable. Whats good is that you buy one of these and use with your existing weights so you do save space.

Kettlebell Handle Adapter
This handle is a great idea to turn a regular dumbell into a kettlebell. It’s built solidly out of metal, and has a malleable rubber core to mold around the handle of the dumbell. It’s easy to use by just unscrewing the nut, opening the hinge, inserting the dumbell and closing. It will fit most “normal dumbells”, but mileage may vary when using larger adjustable types. My Centr adjustables don’t fit, but rubber hex dumbells with a metal handle will fit. It’s said to be able to accommodate a handle as thick as 1.5 inches, but I would say in reality it’s probably a bit smaller, in order to get the hinge to fully close. Functionally it works very well and will hold a good amount of weight. The grip is smooth and wide, similiar to a normal kettlebell as well. It is an excellent value when you have multiple dumbells and want the option of kettlebells as well. All in all a great pickup for those with dumbells who want to expand their options. Recommended!

Doesn’t fit adjustable weights or fatter gripped handles
This is a decently made product, but it was unable to fit onto our adjustable weights and also did not fit regular weights we have with a fatter grip.. But if you have regular sized weights this product would work well.

Neat
I used to make fun of my physical therapist because he loved kettle bells so much. He would turn everything into a kettle bell. Then I got this, and now I’m turning everything into kettle bells.It holds on tight. I don’t actually own any kettle bells, but now I can do my kettle bell exercises. It feels like a kettle bell with my adjustable weight dumbbells.I’m very happy with this.
