The item itself works great. The adhesive does not.
OK, people are correct when they say that the adhesive doesn’t work very well. My response to that is so what? Nobody ever heard of double sided tape? Nobody ever heard of Velcro? It also comes with a second holder, so theoretically, if you have one car, you could permanently mount it to the dashboard, and then when you get your next car, you can permanently mount it to that as well. Another thing that a lot of people don’t even mention is that it comes with a MagSafe sticker which I’ve never even seen before meaning that if you have a case on your phone, that’s not a MagSafe case, you can literally turn it into one. I think that’s a genius idea that more people should mention in their review. I gave it four stars because you’re right it doesn’t stick very well but once you fix that problem, everything else is fantastic. The phone stays nice and secure. It’s heavy duty. I’m very pleased with it and I would recommend it to other people just have some glue ready, double sided tape or Velcro and the problem is so very simple. Just because it doesn’t stick doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. The unit itself is fine. It’s the adhesive that’s the problem which is easily overcome.

I’ve had a lot of cell phone holders in my life but this one by far is the best. I used the adhesive one and had it on in a minute. It would’ve taken seconds but I let the area I clean dry for a few seconds. I waited the 24 hours before I attached my phone as recommended and it perfect. It’s a low profile holder so it doesn’t get in the way. The magnet is strong. I’ve hit some deep pot holes and my phone didn’t move at all. It’s easy to position and it stays where you want it. It came with everything I needed to install it. Wet wipes to clean the area and a little dry towel. Plus it has an extra adhesive mount and a vent mount. It’s really durable.

This is great, my phone attaches so easily and stays on the whole trip. Super sturdy and easy to change orientation.
