The Amazon description reads “Audio Aux Cable can charge many devices with usb to audio jack like snowboarding headphones,” So purchased them for my ODT Chips Helmet speakers. Within 1 minute of plugging them in I smelt an electrical fire smell. I picked up the Chips and they were too hot to hold. They were about to explode into flame.Now my $250 Chips are literally fried an useless. Thanks Amazon for selling dodgy products. I don’t expect i will get the $250 back.

Did not work for my High Tech Chips 2.0 Audio
I bought these because the High Tech Chips 2.0 Audio replacement cable is sold out.These cables did not work for my High Tech Chips 2.0 Audio for helmet applications. While the charging light went on, the audio unit became hot to the touch. The units never turned off after what would normally be a full charge. My audio did not charge and I fear they may have damaged the audio units.

I lost my charging cord for my chips headphones. Bought this cord and as soon as I plugged it in the headphones became hot to the touch. The headphones are now broken. Donât use this product on chips headphones!!!

Used for CD player
Intended use for this cable is to plug the aux end into my portable CD player, and USB end into my car, so I can listen to CDs while driving since the cars no longer have CD players installed. Cord works as intended. The length is enough that I can leave the CD player sitting on the passenger seat.
