Great for puzzle beginners
This is a great puzzle for beginners. Our puppy figured this out pretty fast. It takes him about 45 seconds to empty it of treats. We still use it and it’s fun, but don’t expect it to keep a pup occupied for long. Durable, washable, and noisy, but great entertainment.

Nice enrichment toy
Amazing puzzle honestly it made me feel dumb when i first got it but it keeps my 11.5month old busy for a good 30mins in the morning when its quiet time and cant play with her brother its also very durable and has a nice weight to keep it on the ground bc my 5yr old male decided he was getting fustraited with it and was going to try to chew it aside from him my female absolutely loves it

It’s good.
Pros:Keeps my dog busy for a bit.Makes him actually work for his treats.Cons:I had to tape down the little orange lock bits because when he would push the puzzle it would shift them. His brain doesn’t always work so well (or maybe it does) because he figured out if he scratches at it he can pull some of the pieces off.

Boredom Relief / Mental Exercise
So many are complaining that the bones got chewed up. That’s because the dog has to be taught that the bone isn’t the prize, the item held within is. They don’t reason like we do and anything to a dog is a chewable item. I made the same mistake with my 8-yr old hyper-but-uber-smart Spitz / Husky mix. When he was a puppy I didn’t know even a portion of what I do now and he tore up a great number of toys as a result.I’m starting fresh with a new pound puppy. My 10-month old took off with the bones initially and tried to chew them. I removed them from her and redirected her to the real treasure. After the 2nd round of training she started ignoring the bones and going for the real treat. She now takes her meals in this or her Kong Wobbler. I still have to watch because as I was typing this she finished the game and got bored waiting for me so proceeded to chew up one of the bones. The 8-yr old owned this in no time. His first time with it he put his paw on the center to hold it in place, then picked up the bones, tossed them to the side and reaped his rewards. He was considerably more slobbery than the girl, so do be aware that these things can get slimed. I’m using other toys with him due to the goo factor, and to offer him more of a challenge since this was far too easy for him. This has been a great relief for boredom for the 10-month old. She cracked her foot on our patio when the two dogs were running full speed ahead in the yard, resulting in a toe fracture. I am to keep this puppy on limited activity for 4 – 6 weeks so I’m learning all sorts of new tricks to keep her mind active to make up for the lack of physical exertion. Now that she’s able to put weight on the foot this toy, the Kong Wobbler, and a plush toy with holes to pull smaller plushes from are helping me do just that.Pros:Good introduction to puzzle toysDurable But requires training to prevent dogs from chewing the pieces upLightweightEasy to set upCons:Noisy if your dog manhandles itMoves all over the floorSlobber can make the pieces difficult to handle (or just gross)Takes a little time to set upSupervision neededVideo is the boy on his 3rd attempt. He has a listening problem – he can’t hear “sit” when he doesn’t want to. 😀 I have to send him to the crate because he has resource guarding issues I’ve never been successful at training out of him so to keep things civil I send him away from the game before I refill. If that one piece hadn’t escaped, breaking his concentration, he would have finished up pretty darn quick. The girl is less elegant in her execution.

Not worth the money if your dog is a chewer
Love the challenge this provides my small dog, but itâs not durable. After just 2 uses she had chewed the drawers so the slider for the second layer no longer works. Expensive for just a few uses.

Great Company, Great Toys!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I do like this company and its products a lot. I have been purchasing dog puzzles since my dog was a few months old. But of all the companies I’ve purchased from, I find Outward Hound to be the best made and challenging for my dog. I have a Yorkiepoo who is currently three years old. Because this is a special food toy, I don’t leave it out for him to get at all the time; otherwise, he would obviously chew on the puzzle and ruin it. I noticed in other reviews, this is a problem, but like I said, don’t leave it out. I don’t keep it in his toy box; that is for toys he could play with all day long. You should check out the Youtube video: Dog Twister Tips & Tricks by Nina Ottosson- good ideas.

Fantastic! Different levels of difficulty keeps her busy
Puppy approved! ð¾ð She loves it. We are only 1-2 weeks into use and she has relatively mastered the outer track and is working on the inner. She likes to double check her progress sometimes which is great extending interactivity time. The inner circle will be much harder to master. So glad it has both levels to grow with the dogâs skill. Strong materials. Cute colors- very Mystery Mobile vibes.

Great puzzle, but only for the EXACT right dog!
I purchased the Level 3 Advanced treat puzzle over 2 years ago for my senior dog. He’s a very smart boy but refuses to use his feet for anything, so he could never get past the spinner wheel in the middle (he would get the 3 outer flaps, though!).Since this puzzle wasn’t really doing much for my senior boy, I since tried to gift this puzzle to THREE other friends’ dogs. NONE of those dogs could figure this puzzle out either. Like, not even close. They got frustrated and started slamming / chewing without even trying to snuffle the treats out, and that tactic just doesn’t work here. The treat puzzle never found its new forever home, and sat around in storage for a couple years. Then…I recently got a 3 month old super smartypants puppy (a mutt, about 1/3rd Siberian Husky), and she solved the entire thing in less than 8 minutes on the first try. I now use it to feed her 1st course of breakfast in the morning, which gives me BARELY enough time to start my coffee as she eats all of the kibble this can hold in about 3 – 4 minutes.TL;DR: this puzzle can be almost impossible for the wrong dog to solve, but basically amounts to a fancy “slow feeder” for rare extra-clever dogs who know to use their feet to spin the wheel. :)I use a heaping 1/2 teaspoon to put small pieces of kibble in each compartment. It has 9 little compartments, so in total the puzzle can hold just under a quarter cup.

A qualidade é ótima e vale o preço.
