Seven years ago, my son was asleep in his nursery upstairs. I rolled over to check the baby monitor app on my phone, only to find that it had closed out. Best baby monitor on the market!
Weâve had the Harbor Baby Monitor for about a week now and itâs night and day to my old monitors. My wife and I have a 21 month old boy and are planning for another baby this year and we wanted an upgrade to our monitors, especially with two babies. As soon as you take it out of the packaging you can tell that the materials used are high quality and not the cheap plastic most other monitors have. The set up was very quick and easy. Iâm most impressed with the level of technology. The functionality is great with the options for sound, night vision, alerts, zoom etc. Very high end yet very user friendly. I love that it comes with an app so I can check in on him while Iâm out of the house at work, and I no longer need to reach over my sleeping wife to get the monitor in the middle of the night to check on him. I have a VPN on my phone and I tried to access the video feed one time without realizing I had left my VPN on and I could not get access. Once I realized it was because my VPN was on I was pleasantly surprised. Even being on the same WiFi, it blocked my access. Very secure, great for privacy! Our boy sleeps through the night (thank God) so no need for the sleep nurse right now but if we have issues with the new baby its great to know this service is available to us. Overall, extremely happy with the monitor, well worth the price, would recommend.

My Honest Review
This is my first EVER amazon review and Iâve been making purchases since 2006. This monitor is just that good. With my firstborn, we never needed a monitor because we had a small house and during naps and bedtime it was quiet enough to hear if she woke upâwith two now, and in a bigger house, we realized quickly we needed a baby monitor to keep tabs on our second while running after our first. This was the best baby purchase Iâve ever made, bar none.First, the sound quality is incredible! Clear, crisp, and I am immediately alerted to cries and can even set the noise sensitivity so Iâm not alerted to the endless newborn grunts and groans.Second, the image quality is way better than I thought it would be for a baby monitor. I expected some graininess but that was not the case here. The image quality is just as nice as the sound quality.Third, the Harbor system is so user friendly and easy to navigate. Aesthetically pleasing interface and hardware canât hurt either.Last, but certainly not least, the customer service is phenomenal. They have a text support number with quick turnaround for responses and I did end up needing them when the power block for the monitor was faulty and wouldnât charge the tablet. I spoke with Miranda, who was quickly able to diagnose the problem within a few minutes of chatting and the team sent out a new block express, free of charge.Going forward I will be recommending this baby monitor to anyone I know having babies in the future. The peace of mind alone is worth it, and now that weâre not room sharing I love not having to constantly check or interrupt a movie downstairs to go up and see if I imagined crying or if I really did have to address the babyâs needs. This was a great investment as an anxious mommy.
