Really helped my dogs breath
My dog was struggling with terrible breath. My vet recommended this and it has worked so well. I have had no problems with the dogs or the cats drinking it. They donât seem to notice itâs in their water.

vet recommended and my dog’s tooth health did not decline any further after several months of use
vet recommended and my dog’s tooth health did not decline any further after several months of use!! Excellent value for money (compared to more dental work for thousands of dollars) and my beloved pet dog gets to keep her teeth !

REASONABLY PRICED DENTAL WATER ADDITIVE, HELPS W/REMOVAL OF TARTAR/PLAQUE. IMPROVES WHITENESS.
I Have Tried More Expensive Water Infusions, But Found This Is Great Value For The Money. A Small Measuring Cup Sits On Top Of The Bottle. Easy To Dispense. No Smell/Fresh Breath & Primarily Good For Your Dog’s Overall Health. Likely, I Will Purchase VETRADENT, In The Future.Sherrie A.

Product works
This additive actually does remove some of the color/plaque from my dog’s teeth. My vet recommended it and it’s keeping the issue in check. It has a very light scent, so I presume a light taste, that does not bother the dog, especially since it’s a small amount in each bowl of water. It is a clear liquid.

My cats won’t drink the water
Idk why but the cats can tell. They don’t like the taste of it and won’t drink it.

Good for mouth health
My cat has trouble with his gums and my vet suggested I look into products approved by VOHC, which this is and you can add it to the water for your cat and dog (which I have both). I like it and they drink it, so doesnât have an any taste.

Probably a good product but with a specific drawbackâ¦,
Gotta sayâ¦.. I wanted to try this for my two cats, but they use a water fountain for their drinking water. For some reason this product causes a weird kind of slime in the water fountain, and it also turns the soft sponge mesh filter a gunky brownish yellow color. I change their water weekly so itâs not like it had been sitting for three months. I have also used other dental water additives in the past and have never seen this issue. It is probably a good product and I am bummed because it is VOHC accepted so that add some credibility, but itâs not great for water fountains. It must react to something in the filter portion of the fountainâ¦..Iâm guessing maybe it reacts with the ion exchange resin component. All the other components of the water fountain are relatively inert. So just be aware.

New packaging?
My dog has been using Vetradent Water Additive for a few years. My Chihuahua mix is 12 years old. Besides her breath is a little stinky, we are grateful that she has no dental issue with all her teeth. Maybe this product helped a little to maintain oral hygiene. My dog gets her teeth cleaned every year at the vet’s office. I noticed the bottle I ordered recently has a different packaging label. I called the company to try to verify whether they changed the packaging, but there was no one answering the phone. If you received a product with the new label, please comment here to let me know. Thank you!
