Great beginner toy for my pigeon rock dove Spikers
My pet pigeon Spikers has learned how to use it! I’m so proud of her! At first she was a bit scared of the toy. I put it in her cage on one of the shelves and after a few days she got used to it. Then for about a week, I simulated pecking by taping the egg shaped part with my finger causing peanuts to come out. I cut each peanut into fourths, smaller pieces makes it easier to come out. She tried a little and would give up and coo at me to dispense peanuts for her lol. Today she mastered it and can dispense treats on her own, such a good girl. 🥰 Very happy with this toy. We have done clicker training for step up, jump, fly, and come here. So I wanted a beginner toy for her enrichment that wouldn’t be overwhelming and it has been a good start. I’m excited to progress and try out more difficult toys. She definitely has this one down as when I came back she had eaten about half. Such a good baby, she earned those treats!

    Too small for conures
I got this for my green cheek conure. It is WAY too small for a conure. There is no way he can stand on it and tip the seed holder. He is just too close when standing on it. I tried just setting it on the floor. He just tips it over. Then I glued it to a small piece of wood so he could stand on the would and not tip over the feeder. Well, it tried a typical glue and then epoxy putty. both failed. I guess I’ll end up screwing it to the wood. The up shot of this is it is too small for anything large than a budgie. Don’t bother with it is your bird is large than a budgie.

    Not good
Very cheap and I couldn’t get it assembled. The pieces did not fit together easily and I didn’t want to risk breaking it through force.

Rats loved it– maybe a little too much.
I ordered this feeder toy for my daughter’s pet rats. The quality of it is ok, but the plastic feels like the type that’s easy to break. It took a little while to get the food inside the spinning drum because there’s no way to open it up, and you have to put everything through the one little opening. My daughter didn’t think the rats would have too much interest, but it turned out that the rats loved it so much that they started wrestling over who got to play with/eat from it, which was a first. My daughter didn’t want anybody to get hurt, so she hasn’t used it since the initial trial run, and now it looks like I’ll be ordering another so that everybody can have some fun and still get along! Good thing they’re inexpensive!

Decent rat foraging toy, cute colors!
Good little toy for rats or small birds, my rats seem to really like it and it hold small treats well. The mirror is painted on and useless if that matters to you.For attaching it to the cage it’s a breeze, simple screw on.The bright colors are fun too and go well with their fleece items.Cleaning the blue dispenser part is a pain, I soak it in hot soapy water for 30min or so to loosen up debris and then air dry. Nice little toy just wish it wasn’t so beat up and flimsy feeling.

I hope this works well for my mice
I got this for my four female mice. They haven’t figured out how to use it in the first 24 hours, and I’ve kept an eye on them to make sure they can’t get their head stuck in it. They’re little busy bodies that love to play with new things, but I’ve noticed it does take them quite a while to figure things out. This is sturdy, seems well-made, and was super easy to assemble. I easily added the treats, and I’m just standing it up in their home on the flat bottom without attaching it to anything since their habitat doesn’t have bars. It seems to be sturdy enough to stay standing with their light weight but still easy/light enough for them to move the dispenser, yet only time will tell. I think this is a great idea and easy to clean, so I hope it works well for them.
