Looks Great with Stainless Steel appliances
It’s shorter than the can that I replaced, but goes well with the stainless Steel appliances in my kitchen. I was worried that the motion sensory would pick up every movement(walking past) and draining the batteries quickly however this is far from the case. I have to wave my hand just inches from the sensory in order for the lid to “jerk” open. For this I can just simply push the button. I’ve seen them before where they open and close smoothly. It’s still a nice Trash Can but disappointed with the auto lid

Attractive AND functional
It was the right size, 13 gal. It looks great. It’s easy to clean. Spray or wipe any smudges and it looks shiny new. There are no indentations or folds where dirt can collect making it hard to clean. A 13 gal. trash bag fits well and the can has a removable holder which fits around the rim sealing the space between the bag and can so that nothing can fall between the bag and can which keeps the interior of the can just as clean as the day you set it up. The top which contains the lid and mechanics for the automatic lid opener is removable. It houses 4 C cell batteries (not included) easily replaceable. This is the perfect can for those who don’t like touching the lid when discarding garbage. Two motion sensors will automatically open the lid as you bring the garbage near and will close automatically when you leave. It has a tiny on/off switch in the back to turn off the power saving the batteries when you don’t intend to use the can for awhile. The lid fits well confining smells to the inside of the can. The can is very light but heavy enough to stay in place with a plastic bottom which won’t scratch the floor. What else do you look for in the perfect can? The price for such a can is reasonable too It would be super reasonable if shipping was included but it isn’t and it’s shipped from China. It also takes a few days for delivery which is understandable considering its place of origin. I bought two, one for garbage and the other for recyclables. They look great no matter where you place them.

Wonderful product. Trash capacity really good, specially for recyclable items. Works even with a sensor and you don’t even have to push the open/close buttons. I really recommend this product. Note: does not come with batteries.

Doesnât work quite right
Nice looking trash can. The sensor to open works ok but you have to be right on it and itâs a short can so you have to bend to do it. Which is fine. There is also an open button which I have to use more often than not. Bigger complaint is it doesnât close all the way. It will close about quarter of the way, even if I hit the close button. So I have to close it manually. Kind of defeats the purpose of getting a censored can. Donât want the hassle of returning it so Iâll just live with it. 3 stars because it looks nice and is a good size can, and when the open does work itâs convenient.

I got this to replace my Nine Star brand motion sensor trash bin. I was highly disappointed in that one because I paid close to $100 and it stopped working correctly after two months of use (lid would only open 60% of the way; would open 100% with fresh batteries but return to 60% after a few weeks of use). The trash bin failed to open all together after a little over 2 years of use.That said, I had my doubts about this one so I decided to use it for a few months first before leaving a review. Andddd so far so good! Sensor is responsive. Lid still opens all the way and stays open for about 8 seconds. Iâve also have not changed the batteries yet. The only thing Iâve noticed coming from my old trash bin is that it is slightly smaller.

Large enough for household, fits well with the regular garbage bag and it doesn’t open if you kick it which is great otherwise it can open every time someone walks by like my old bin.
