Marvelous Book for Everyone
This book is a wonderfully complete, commonsense guide to healthy eating. I have given a copy to all my family members. The alphabetical organization makes it very easy to move from topics like vitamins to specific foods that contain these vitamins. I use it every day!

Food that Harm, Foods that Heal
I felt the book was outdated, and some old concepts. I was hoping some insight to the vegitarian diet advocated by Drs. Ferman and Dr. Gabrial Cousins. Let thy food be the medicine and the medicine they food.

All happened according to the script – as told in the beginning.

This book has been very interesting to read and gives detailed insight into food that can worsen medical conditions and also has a alphabetical order with page number of just about every medical condition at the back of the book with a food that can heal the condition and foods that can cause more harm to it I bought two books as gifts as it has been very beneficial for me throughout the years and delighted to get them at a bargain price too Thank you

A must have book for every house. Actually a reference manual and lists all food items right from breads to Oils to various meats to alcohols to lentils to fruits to… It lists there benfits there nutrients and it is best suited for whom. Also lists by diseases, that waht to avoid and what to eat. E.g. there are so many various cooking oils available like Sunflower seed oil, Rice bran Oil, Groundnut Oil, Mustard Oil, Rapeseed oil, olive oil etc… Each has its own brands making tall claims. Which one to use? Why? What to look for? These questions can be more pertinent if one has High cholesterol patient in family. This book in an appropriate section breaks down nutritional contents of each oil for you to decide. On lighter side, while having Melons you can refer and see how it helps you and the melons taste sweeter. A must-have for every family. I own two copies, one with me and one with my parents. 🙂
