Get a closer look at Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition’s Switch 2 packaging and game card

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is coming to the Switch 2 on launch day, June 5th, 2025. A ton of talk about this title has surfaced in recent months, with critics and gamers being wowed by what appears to be the Switch 2’s first so-called “impossible” port. While the game’s technical merits are certainly worth talking about, there’s another aspect of the game that has got the lion’s share of attention.

Right out of the gate, CD Projekt Red revealed that Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition would see a physical release where the entire game was on the Game Card. Nintendo announced Game-Key Cards during their Switch 2 Nintendo Direct, which are physical Game Cards that still require a download. CD Projekt Red didn’t want to go that route, feeling that cramming everything onto one traditional Game Card was the right thing to do.

Today, we get a closer look at that physical release for Switch 2, and it’s looking pretty stellar. Above, you can check out two pictures that showcase the European physical packaging for Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition alongside a close-up of the Game Card. We even get to see some of the stickers and literature CD Projekt Red threw in the box as well. Without a doubt, one of the nicest physical releases for Switch 2 out of the entire launch lineup!
