Filmmakers looking to wear their gear obsession on their sleeve now have a new option with Minifab Tee-Stop, a pixel art apparel line that transforms iconic cameras and lenses into wearable art.
The new product line from Minifab combines retro gaming aesthetics with cinema equipment, offering t-shirts and stickers featuring hand-drawn pixel art renditions of industry-standard cameras and lenses. The collection, playfully named the “Spriterion Collection,” currently includes 12 cameras and over 70 lenses, all rendered to scale with their real-world counterparts.
In case the name “Minifab” rings a bell, it might be because we awarded them one of our coveted CineD Best-of-Show Awards at IBC 2024, for their VMP400 V-Mount Battery Plate for the Canon C400 (separate news report here).
But back to their new shirts and stickers.
“Technical specs” of Minifab Tee-Stop line meet marketing satire
Minifab Tee-Stop’s marketing approach satirizes the technical language commonly found in cinema lens advertising. The company lists tongue-in-cheek specifications including “8-bit colour depth,” “up to 10 stops of greyscale,” and “<0.01 megapixel resolution” with a “200μm pixel pitch.” The products also boast a “Log-T wide gamut colour space” and “telecentric (orthographic) design.”

Beyond the playful specs, Minifab emphasizes practical features like “vintage character” with “enhanced image sharpness and contrast,” “unprecedented colour fidelity” with “vivid and saturated” colors, and positioning the products as an “unbeatable value” for filmmakers seeking “the camera package you’ve always dreamed of at a price point you can afford.”
T-shirts and stickers
The t-shirt line utilizes premium Bella + Canvas stock made from eco-friendly 100% cotton. To minimize environmental impact and avoid overproduction, the shirts are printed on-demand at international centers, enabling faster fulfillment and reduced shipping costs worldwide.
Currently, nine different t-shirt designs are available, including two limited edition European Lens Summit designs, with additional designs in development.

The sticker collection features individually die-cut designs printed on high-quality matte vinyl, engineered to withstand the demands of film set environments. Printed at half-scale, some zoom lens stickers exceed 150mm (6 inches) in length, allowing filmmakers to “own your dream lens at half the size but a fraction of the price.”

Stickers are available in five initial pack configurations: two eight-piece full frame prime sets, two five-piece full frame zoom sets, and a mystery pack containing eight random lenses mixing primes and zooms, modern and vintage, spherical and anamorphic options. The mystery packs may include exclusive stickers or special edition lenses.
Future expansion of Minifab Tee-Stop
Minifab has outlined plans for additional product categories, including Super-35 and anamorphic sticker packs, patches, and other merchandise items.

We think it’s a fun idea, and a way for film professionals and enthusiasts to display their equipment preferences in a more casual, artistic format while working on set or visiting rental facilities.
