Insta360 is about to announce their own set of drones, and the name is also very unique — they are calling it the Antigravity Drone. The prototype images of the upcoming drone have been leaked. You can very clearly see the Antigravity branding on the drone itself. Insta360’s expertise in creating 360-degree cameras will help to create innovative drones. Still, the big question is — will they be able to compete against the existing specifications, offerings, and the price tag of DJI drones? Or will it be a big failure? If they can do something better than DJI itself at a lower price tag, then they are sure to grab a significant share of the drone market.

Insta360: What We Know So Far

Recent leaks have revealed the prototype images of Insta360 drones, and we have witnessed and seen two of them under the branding “Antigravity” — maybe that’s the code name they have. Let’s discuss the set of information we have related to these two drones:

Price and Release Date

Based on the current market trend and DJI drones’ pricing strategy — if you look at the DJI Neo and Mini series, specifically the ultra-lightweight category — the price range falls between $200 to $250.
Similarly, the upcoming Insta360 ultra-lightweight drone is expected to fall under the same price range $200 – $250 – this is what we expect right now. The larger model is expected to fall in the range of the DJI Mini 4K and Mini 3, $350 – $450, which sounds very reasonable if it is priced in this range.

Release Date: The Insta360 Drones are expected to arrive in Q4 of 2025 at its earliest.
