Baking is a breeze now!
I love the his mat! Itâs perfect for making pastry, sourdough, biscuits⦠nothing sticks to it, and itâs so big that two people can work side by side. The measurements on it help when youâre making things, like rectangles or circles, where you need a specific length or circumference. The bottom is a bit sticky, so it stays in place. Itâs easy to hand wash. I put the tissue paper it was shipped in, back around it for storage. Great product!

Decent pair of silicone baking mats….
I’m always on the lookout for decent sized silicone mats. I like to do handmade candy and cookies for as Christmas gifts and during those weeks of cooking and baking I need a lot of space and I need to keep it clean as well as not sticking together. To be honest, though, I find them useful all year round for a variety of food related preparation and projects. I ordered the color Red-2 PCS in 28âx20â as I figured that would cover most of my needs. The mats are very lightweight and and somewhat thin. However, they do a great job. The ‘sticky’ back really helps the mat to stay in place on your work surface even while you are actively using it. Handy measurements and guides are printed on the face of the mat including; centimeters (62), inches (25), a temperature Fahrenheit and Celsius, a comparison chart for cup=ounce=tablespoon=teaspoon=milliliter, and a dough size chart marked in both inches and centimeters. I used these mats for many different tasks including under my new cotton candy machine as I have been learning how to use it. Needless to say, these mats have saved me a lot of mess and time cleaning up. The mats are relatively easy to clean by hand and once they are dry they can be stored flat, folded, or even rolled like I do. The size of these mats is where they really shine and I’m glad to have them in my cooking/baking tools and equipment….

These BlueBark silicone mats are a great addition to my countertop kitchen aids.The set comes with two very large mats made soft, supple silicone material with a non-skid bottom. The mats are printed with all kinds of measurements, diagrams, and other helpful information right on the front. I chose the two-pack of the red ones, in the 20″x24″ size, and they fit my countertop perfectly.As soon as they arrived, I spread out one mat to make some cookie dough. As I rolled the dough out, I realized these would also be great to knead bread dough, to roll out pie crust, empanada dough, pierogies, etc. Not only do the diagrams indicate where to cut the dough to fit different pans, molds, etc, but there are linear markings to indicate inches and millimeters as well.When it was time for me to cut the cookies from the dough, I used some sharp cookies cutters, yet noticed no damage to the silicone surface! The cookies didn’t stick to the silicone, and transferred easily to the pan.This helpful mat kept my counter nice and clean. These mats wash up in a snap, too – either with sponge and a quick rinse, or they can be tossed in the dishwasher.A helpful new addition to my kitchen!

These silicone mats are wonderful for my kitchen! I use them when Iâm making desserts, that need to know how far you roll out the dough, or any other measurements. Plus it keeps my counters clean too! They seem to be sturdy, good sized baking sheets. The thickness is good as well.I do recommend these baking sheets.

Great for making sourdough bread
Every time my son comes to visit, he always makes me sourdough bread. But, oh, the mess when he gets done! I have quartz countertops and it seems like after he cleans up, there is always some flour and dough stuck here and there. I Love, Love this silicone mat. The large sized mat is partly what makes it so great. He needs a big surface for kneeding and folding because most of the time he makes 2 loaves. Once they go into the oven, clean up begins. The second great thing about this mat is that I can put it in the sink and wash it. And, my counter only needs a quick wipe down. Yes, it’s big and a bit cumbersome but I have a deep, open sink and can rotate it around to get it clean. Or, I can put it in my dishwasher if I have room. Although my son didn’t us them, there are measurement markings in both centimeters and inches, if you need to make something the perfect size. Since the package came with 2 mats, I sent one home with my son. We are both happy!

Budget Silicone Baking Sheets – Thin and Difficult to Handle
I needed new silicone baking sheets after my old ones finally wore out, so I decided to try these budget-friendly options. Compared to my previous sheets, these are a bit of a letdown. They are incredibly thinâonly about half a millimeter thickâwhich causes them to flop around and stick together like wet tissue paper. This makes them difficult to handle, especially when you’re trying to spread them out or clean them. On the topic of cleaning, good luck drying them out unless you have a clothes drying rack or wipe them down by hand.The large size of these mats (24 x 16 inches) is a positive, and they come with helpful graphics and measurements, which is a nice touch. At $14 for a two-pack, theyâre definitely budget-friendly, but if youâre looking for something more durable and easier to work with, I would recommend continuing your search for a better option.

I’ve just renovated my kitchen, and I wanted to keep my new countertops nice. These mats are the perfect size to roll out dough on the counter. I love that they have measurements on them, because often my recipes will call for me to roll out dough to a certain size, and I’ve always guesstimated. I’d rather be more exact. The mats are a little awkward to wash, but I’m able to clean them in my kitchen sink.
