Works very well with Intel MacBook Pro W/Monterey
This BT dongle works great and is just what I needed. I use a BT speaker in a location that is difficult for the reception on my Macbook Pro to reach. I wanted to try a BT adapter that I could place away from the computer to enhance communication between my speaker and the BT adapter radio. Since using this adapter with this speaker I’ve had absolutely no issues with reception to it. It works flawlessly.Connecting the adapter to my MacBook Pro was as easy as plugging it in. The manual states that it will download drivers automatically. If the MacBook needed them then it did download them. The B10 adapter showed up in my output sound settings right away.Pairing to the speaker was just as easy. Pressing and holding the button on the adapter, briefly, places it in pairing mode. The speaker paired with the adapter with no issues. The sound is excellent coming from the speaker and I had not a single issue with reception, even though the speaker is in a bad location that the MacBook bluetooth radio had trouble sending its signal to. (In another room with lots of wires and electrical devices in the way, plus an electrical panel)The only issue I had was with the description of the adapter in the title on its webpage. It states that it is Bluetooth 5.2. I included a couple of pics of the instruction manual that clearly states it is Bluetooth 5, not 5.2. One is a typo, but which one?Regardless, this adapter works like a charm and I would definitely buy it again and I highly recommend it.UPDATE: I was in touch with miibuy, who sells this adapter, and they told me that this adapter is indeed Bluetooth 5.2. They said that the instruction manual included in the box was for the previous version. They emailed me a new instruction manual. However, the “new” manual doesn’t include the specifications, only instructions. It would seem that we have to take miibuy’s word for it.

Works perfectly with PS5!
I tried 3 other brands before finding this adapter that finally worked for my PS5. I’m using the SHOKZ OpenFit Earbuds. Step 1: Turn on your Bluetooth headphones, then place them into pairing mode. Step 2: On the Bluetooth transmitter, hold down the transmitter button until the LED light begins flashing, then wait for a moment. Step 3: Your transmitter will automatically detect your Bluetooth headphones and establish a connection. That’s it! The mute button on my controller also muted my earbuds. I could adjust my mic sensitivity on the PS5 too. Hopefully, this review helps. Enjoy!

Randomly starts videos
While using this device if i pause a video, it will enter some sort of power saving mode after not playing any sounds. Any noise such as a notification from discord will wake it up from its power saving mode, and start playing the video automatically. Very poor feature. no way to stop this it seems.

Perfect for my needs
I have this adapter hooked up to my Ubuntu 22.04 desktop, to connect to a pair of Soundcore Life Q30 headphones. It paired without problem, holds the Bluetooth connection well, and I have noticed no adverse effect on sound quality, compared to the native Intel WiFi 6 AX200 Bluetooth chip on my Gigabyte Aorus Pro AX motherboard. The Bluetooth range in my house might be just a tiny bit smaller than with the PC’s onboard Bluetooth chip, but it’s still plenty.The reason I use this, is that Linux’ driver for the Intel AX2xx chips is notoriously buggy. For more than a year the driver has had a bug that made the PCs lose connection to Bluetooth headphones at random intervals. There’s a lot of debate on tech fora about how far back in time one would need to reach to find a version of the linux-firmware module that actually works for AX200. For me, this is all unacceptable. I am not going to use out-of-date firmware modules because Intel can’t/won’t make good on their promise to support Linux users. Nor am I going to re-establish my Bluetooth connection 10x per day, whenever the Intel driver trips over its own feet. The solution for the future is to keep “Intel Outside” when buying hardware for use with Linux PCs. The solution for the present is this clever 1Mii device.Because it encapsulates the entire Bluetooth stack and presents itself to the PC as an audio device, the PC’s Bluetooth system is redundant when using this device, and can be turned off. Frankly, even if on has a better-supported wireless chip than the Intel AX2xx series, Linux’ Bluetooth subsystem can be finicky from a user perspective. Not having to deal with it at all is a huge benefit for people who want to spend time on the computer to get work done, rather than spend time to get the computer to work.For my money, this is $25 well-spent.
