If the dashboard surface is leather or curved, to be honest, it is not compatible. maybe the windshield is a good choice.3. Turn on the base LOCK before adjusting the angle.I had an issue with installation as it was not a good fit with my car at first. it worked just not ideal. They contacted me and verified my vehicle and had a solution. All of this quickly. Well made with strong magnet and excellent suction cup.
Excellent product, well made and easy to use. My one suggestion is since this phone holder holds your phone steady, I would suggest you change your phone case to a MagSafe case. But if not, an extra magnet is included that can be taped onto the back of the phone. I liked it so much, I bought a second one for my other car. Great suction also.

Easy to set up and excellent hold

Can’t hold its own weight
I had high hopes for this, as I wanted a strong arm with a magnet to hold the phone in my pickup truck. I bought two types, because I also wanted a similar mount for my backup camera screen. I cleaned the dash with alcohol wipes, installed both mounts, and then waited 24 hours with the truck parked. Within a day this one had already fallen off the dash, unable to hold its own weight with the sun shining down through the windshield (and this is Indiana, not some Arizona desert). Note that I didn’t even have anything on the arm other than the magnet that comes with it, it fell under its own weight.

When by some fluke the magnetic plate had a hairline crack I contacted the maker. They responded immediately and issued a replacement. That replacement arrived promptly. Love the product and the fact they stand behind their product.

We have tried (and returned) many car/dash/vent/CD slot phone mounts – none seemed to stay stuck firmly in place. I am thrilled to have found this HTU mount.
