These come as little thin âsticksâ. You place one in water and watch it grow into a round facial cleaning sponge. They work so well. Then toss away. Love these.

These Compressed Facial Sponges from the brand Hofason change from a dry, stiff, small-looking stick into a soft, round sponge in a few seconds. When I first took them out of the package, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But they exceeded my expectations.They don’t come with any directions, but I just cupped my hands with water and let it sit in it for a few seconds until it started to grow. And the facial sponges are good quality too. I tried to tear them, but they are very stretchy.Great that they are wrapped in packs of twelve, making them easy to share as fun small gifts or stocking stuffers. The fact that there are 480 sponges included is a fantastic value. I would definitely order again and highly recommend.

Different from other compressed facial sponges
You get a lot! They come in 4 spring colors and are individually packaged into 12 sponges. I like getting things like this as I make self care baskets for the holidays and things like this take a long time to get through so I like to share them. These are different from most compressed facial sponges I’ve used before (the compressed round ones that look like paper before they get wet). These are a different texture and much more spongy than those other ones, reminds me of those spongy makeup triangle wedges. They do take some time running under water before expanding. Holds more water than others. Great for removing masks.

Very Compact And Work Well
I was a bit skeptical about these sponges, but having the ability to compactly store and travel with them was enough to justify giving them a try. If you have ever had a kid with a tiny dinosaur that increased to full size in water, then you have the basic idea how these work. Once expanded, the sponges are quite soft though still quite useful. They can be reused, but won’t be something you use for weeks though at least a few uses is not unreasonable. They are working well and love to have the ability to toss a dozen in a travel bag while not needing much more space than a pack of gum!

Amazing
These are great as they come packed very tightly and are great for travel. Thenapomges once water is added to them are soft and do very well at removing make up or for cleaning things that donât require too much scrubbing. I love all the colors that come with the pack and how compact they are from the, being dehydrated or shrunken,

So soft, great for skin
When these first arrive, you can’t tell they’re sponges. They are super-compressed and very stiff. They don’t expand after removal from the package either. You have to get them wet to “reconstitute” the sponge. It takes a minute, but once expanded, the sponge feels very soft to the touch, like a sponge cake! There’s just enough texture for cleansing your skin, but it’s so soft that it’ll feel nice even against the most sensitive skin.
