A Bit Small
The opening for the food falling out was a bit smaller than I expected. I’m not sure how you’re supposed to fill up the food rather than just tilting it back and shoving food in the hole, but my hamster has yet to figure out how to use this. Plus the larger pellets don’t fall out even when I tip it forward without a little help. Seems more suited to birds.

Treat dispenser toy
This treat dispenser is plastic so, as usual, keep an eye on it if you have a chewer. The size is user friendly for a small animal. Itâs large enough to manipulate without being difficult. The colors can give a habitat some pizazz which is nice. My hamster hasnât seemed interested so far. I will say it will most likely take time and depend on the personality of your critter. I have shown him a few times how it operates and he will gladly eat the snacks that have dispensed. A little trick and mental stimulation for your hamster, if you will. It can sit on a floor like in a play pen or be hung on the side of a wire cage. I would say itâs worth trying as a little boredom buster.
