Bread proofing made easy
I make a lot of bread and wanted something exactly like these. The ability to cover my dishes and create a healthy environment for rising bread without fighting cling wrap or dirtying my dish towels was what I wanted, and these have delivered. The material is similar to a cheap shower cap but sturdy enough for what I’m using them fore. The elastic holds snug and allows for a wide variety of bowls/containers to be used. You’re not getting an airtight seal but definitely good enough for proofing bread or transporting food containers if you can securely keep them flat during transport.

These are great for a lot more than dough proofing – though they are also perfect for that allowing a lot of give for the rise. They also cover a plate of food nicely as well as a mixing bowl for keeping out dust, dirt, flies, and fingers!
