Great for detail work
Good because they are cheap. There is not much cotton, but that’s by design. These work great for electronics work and for clean up of fine details. Works great for cleaning threads. Because they are low cost, the low absorbency can be overlooked. The sticks break easily with sideways pressure, but that hasn’t been a major issue.These work well under a microscope and don’t leave behind any fibers. These work well for cleaning between threads on used air fittings.

Super pointy!!
These are super pointy! Which is a great thing, really let you get into the details when doing permanent make up. There is VERY LITTLE cotton and it is wrapped super tightly around the tip, but that is exactly what you would need for some purposes. If you are expecting these to be like cotton swabs, you have the wrong idea. I have another brand that has a little bit more cotton, and I think the combination of having both is optimal.I also tried using these to clean up the details around the cuticle edges of a manicure and they worked spectacularly for that!You get a ton of these in the resealable plastic case, and I appreciate that they are packaged inside the box in bundles of 100, otherwise I feel they would get dirty/contaminated/messy.For under $10 you get 800 swabs, which is a great deal. The barcode label on the box does say 700PCS, but there were eight packs of 100 inside the box that I received, just as there should have been.The only negative I can say at all is that my plastic box is cracked along the lid and because of this, it does not reseal properly. I will try to repair it with some tape or glue, otherwise I will need to find somewhere else to store these.Definitely will be re-purchasing when I need them again, which will be a while because this is a great sized box.

These were nice and sturdy. In the past Iâve used some where the cotton fuzz ends up in your work and these stayed together. They are easy to use the cotton part is a tiny bit thicker than some Iâve used in the past. They are still thin enough to clean tight spaces. I use them for both permanent makeup and nail art.
