After the camera emits the greeting “Welcome to use smart camera” and “Please configure WiFi”, then configure WiFi.If you do not hear a greeting from the camera, press and hold the reset button to reset the camera.WiFi name and password can not use special symbols, punctuation, spaces.The WiFi name and password are set to 10 characters or less.Cell phone media volume is turned on to maximum and close to the device.WIFI signal cannot be hidden. Anti-dragging, blacklist, disable device, MAC binding and other functions do not be opened.Device connection timeout or connection failure, please reset the operation. Garbage instructions, can’t make it connect or function
Like so many devices these days, this camera is supposed to be connected to, and configured using, an app on your smartphone. While this isn’t a bad idea in principle, it comes with an inherent problem: how do you first configure the device to be on your WiFi network so the app on your phone can talk to it?There’s a couple of well-known ways to do this, such as Bluetooth, IR, and various special-purpose sonic interfaces. The single place of instructions included with this camera suggests that these are options.Unfortunately, when I installed the app and tried to use it, it only offered one option – WiFi. But since there is no way to get the camera on your own WiFi network, that didn’t work.Apparently the camera, in the absence of an active WiFi connection, will broadcast its own WiFi SSID that you can connect to directly. I did indeed see this WiFi signal on my phone, and connected to it successfully. Unfortunately, the app wasn’t able to see that, or at least couldn’t connect to the camera, so wasn’t able to connect or do anything.That leaves me with a plastic paperweight until I get tired of it and throw it out. Don’t waste your time or money, buy something else.

Nice price for the cam, great picture, and I love the design. Had a little bit of an issue connecting it but other than that it a good buy. I have a 7mouth old Austrian Shepherd and he is very smart. So I hope he doesn’t decide to destroy it. lol

Difficulty set up but it works
Had a little trouble getting it set up but it works. Sounds are sort of muffled but I like that it tracks movement.

Perfect to spy on pets!
I ordered this to see what my cats did while we are gone and it works perfectly. I was able to position it in my family room so that I have a full view of the space. My husband downloaded the app on his phone and he loves seeing what the cats are up to! It does exactly what we wanted it to do! Gotta love technology because this is a nice camera for a good price that met our needs.
