I got these because I store a lot of leftovers and carry food to and from work fairly often. I also wanted some containers I could send home with people after a family meal without worrying about needing to get them back because of cost. These hit that sweet spot perfectly. They are a perfect size for storing most leftovers or carrying a meal to work. The lids fit neatly and snugly, although I wouldn’t put a thin liquid in them if they would be carried somewhere. They are easy to clean and haven’t stained from tomato sauce as plastic containers often do. They have excellent durability for what they are, not something to use for 10 years but not easy to crack after one use either. They are a fantastic value for the money. I’ll be getting more when I’ve used up these.

Top rack dishwasher safe, BPA-free 32-oz meal containers
The 50 32-oz meal containers are very light and I can use it for hot and frozen meals. I measured the size to be about 8 1/2 inches long, almost 6 inches deep and about 2 1/4 inches tall with lid. On the package I see they re BPA-free, microwave safe, freezer safe and dishwasher safe. But I donât use the sanitation cycle when I wash them in the dishwasher. I can see on the bottom of the containers that theyâre plastic number 5, microwave safe, and safe for food contact. The containers have light lavender color. On the clear lid, I can see similar information on the edges of the clear lids: number 5 plastic, microwave safe, top rack dishwasher safe. I use the food containers for any type of meal.

Work great and take up little storage space
First off, these are not designed to be reused indefinitely.These are basically take-out containers and you should view them as such. Sure, you can wash and reuse them several times, providing you hand wash them. They don’t play well with the dishwasher, regardless of which rack you put them on. I lost two lids to that. They warped and were useless.And that was not the result of a deficit or design flaw. That was the result of someone in my family not listening when I said to handwash them, lol.LUCKILY, I got a whopping 50 sets so I’m good.These are best for things like salads or leftovers. And that’s what I use them for. I have four people taking lunches to work and they take leftovers. These are perfect for that because they CAN be reused many times, if you wash them properly, but if one gets tossed out accidentally – no big deal. It’s not tupperware, ya know?I also love how they pack together so tightly. OMG, the struggle to keep the various plastic containers in place in my cabinets is really driving me to the edge.I have replaced ALLLLLL those random containers with these.They fit well into stanard lunch bags, but not smaller ones. Measure and test before you buy.We all have nice lunch kits that are rectangular and have top/bottom zippered compartments – and these fit perfectly inside.Are they worth it? Buyer determines the value, right?For me, they are worth it. They are MUCH cheaper then the Tupperware containers that managed to disappear from my home in the past six months. So, yes, they are worth it.
