Strong and colorful!
I use these for lots of purposes. Notes on the front door, important notices on my file cabinet, photos and shopping list pad on my fridge. And they are strong enough to stay in place, and the colors are just as bright and pretty as shown. Will buy again – especially since my daughter and best friend wanted a couple out of this order.

Magnetic strength isn’t consistent, or quite what I wanted.
I like to hang a towel and an apron on my refrigerator door. I tried another vendors magnetic clips similarto these. Those were mainly plastic (except for the spring, and the magnet), which I preferred because you never have to worry about rust. Especially if what it comes in contact with could be damp (e.g., a towel, or sometimes an apron can be damp). The springs were actually stainless steel. Those clips all failed when trying to stay attached and in place on my refrigerator door, with my apron clipped in their jaws.Now these painted metal clips, faired somewhat better. They have a nice paint job, but when I tested each clip with the apron, 5 worked OK, and 3 didn’t. The three would just slide down the fridge door. Seems like there’s a failure of quality control in how the magnets are manufactured. I’m still debating if I should return these. I mean five of the eight are OK, and I could use the other three for clipping chip bags or holding a note to the fridge. But who knows, all the magnets might start losing their strength in a few months. Oh well. Still considering. The 3 star rating really means mediocre overall.

These weren’t cheap, but I’m starting the new year not buying cheap! I wanted safe magnets so they couldn’t pose a choking risk to visiting grandson. These are large, with large, very strong magnets, and they hold things firmly. Exactly what I wanted.
