This is a little small for chinchillas, but it works! The bamboo construction is lass chewable than pine, so it will last longer. (With the exception of the barrel, which is pine and very chewable.) Easy construction, durable, and makes your critter work for the treat! Very pleased with this purchase.

easy way to feed and hammy loves it
My hamster LOVES this! I fill it with a kibble type food that is the perfect size to drop out when he turns the wheel. It piles up in the tray underneath and sometimes he pouches it and takes it with him and sometimes he leaves it there as a hoarding spot. Great toy for enrichment.

Good concept
It was easy to assemble. The hole is very tight. I had to cut out a bigger notch in order for treats to have space to fall out. Other than that, it seems okay.

Easy to assemble, fun for our hamster
This was easy enough to assemble that my teen daughter did it with no help from parents. Her hamster loves it, and it’s been a great way to enrich his environment and keep him busy!

My sugar glider is too dumb to figure it out, but with time I think it’ll work. Wish the holes were off center so things had a harder time falling out, smaller/less holes or even able to block one off would be nice.. Not sure what exactly is supposed to go in it as it would pour out with a half turn, but a few treats in it seem fine

This has more to offer than any other enrichment toy for hamsters / rats / gerbils that I’ve seen. It has the little sliding covers, the rotating covers, the flip cover and the pull up cover, plus the rolling dispenser.The one I got is bamboo wood, which I really like. Everything feels very high quality, no sharp edges anywhere. I wonder how easy it’ll be for my hamster to get the treat out of the rolling part though, since they only have smaller slits rather than the whole dowel missing like in the product photo. I suppose I can always enlarge them if needed.
