Fantastic Device! Great Portable Dock for Steam Deck/Switch
I purchased this device to dock my Steam Deck. Since I have a project killswitch case on my steam deck, it doesn’t work too well with a lot of docks with the kickstand on. And as someone that doesn’t game on docked mode, and I only use the steam deck with my portable monitor when I am modding games or tinkering in desktop mode, this hub works perfectly. I also tried this with my Switch and that works perfectly too…and I have not tried this with any other devices. This hub comes with a USB C, A, and HDMI port. The USB C is to plug into your Switch or Steam Deck, the USB A allows you to connect a peripheral to the device, and the HDMI is for your monitor/TV/additional screen. As someone who only docks the Steam Deck to tinker, this is the perfect device. It doesn’t take any space on my desk (like with my jsaux dock) and is about the size of a normal charger, I can use it to hookup my Switch to my portable monitor in case I want to game on a bigger screen while in other rooms in the house (or travelling), and it can serve as a normal charger as well. The only CON I can see for some people is that it only has one USB A port and no ethernet…since it is not the size of a normal steam deck/switch dock. This is not a big deal for me since I don’t actually plug anything into the Steam Deck or Switch when I am docking it…but it is nice to have a USB A port in case I want to plug a flash drive, etc into the Steam Deck. One other thing to note is that you MUST use the cable to comes with this or a cable that is of the same spec or higher (10 Gbps or higher). Otherwise, this will not work on your Switch/Steam Deck with just ANY USB C cable. I found this out the hard way by trying to use my regular Steam Deck charging angled USB cable with the hub and it didn’t work (that cord was only made to charge the steam deck). It only worked with the original cable it comes with or a 20 Gbps USB C cable I bought.

It does what I purchased it for and a little more
I use this primarily with a Steam Deck. The brick is only slightly larger than the charger that comes with the Deck. I don’t know if this could really be considered a dock, but it lets me charge the Deck and connect it to a TV at the same time when travelling, which is what I bought it for, so I’m very satisfied with it. The extra usb port allows me to connect accessories to the Deck or charge another device while the Deck’s connected to it, which is more functionality than I was looking for originally and saves me a little packing space where I would’ve needed another charger if I was using the original Deck charger. For my specific use case, this has performed well beyond expectations. If you’re looking for an actual dock, I don’t think this would be able to meet your needs, but if you’re looking for something with a tiny bit more functionality than just charging, then this could be a really great charging accessory for you. Even if you’re just wanting to reduce the number of chargers you have to take with you, this could be pretty helpful for charging a couple of devices at a time.

Short lifespan
Stopped transmitting video out after 2 months!Great device in theory, except it didn’t last. When functional, this is the most convenient display and sound dock for Steam Deck and Laptop that I have ever used. Wonderful for travel. However it did not last. Unfortunately the 90 day service is only Amazon Troubleshooting service and that is a useless FAQ about restarting the device. No service after 30 days and only last for 60 days? I won’t buy another one and I recommend no one else buy it unless there is a change in the quality and replacement policy.

Canât say a bad thing about it
This is one of the most convenient accessories for my mobile gaming set up that I have found. It works with both my switch, and my steam deck, allows me to hot swap easily between the two, itâs small and easily, portable, and charges quickly. I can also use it for my laptop if I want to.

Works, but you HAVE to have a full-feature USB-c connected from it to the PC, or you’re SOL
Managed to misplace the USB-c that comes with the charger (DON’T DO THAT) so the whole thing became useless to me until I tracked down another “full feature” USB-c to use with, many months later. You MUST have a USB-c table that’s rated for both charging AND VIDEO. After that, though? It’s great!

Small and extremely useful!
Honestly I love the simplicity of this thing so much I’ve bought 2. Steam Deck or Switch into this, HDMI out, and you have a mini, portable travel dock.If I had to find a flaw, it’d be that it could do with an extra output – sometimes I want to charge a ridiculous amount of things at once, and this can only handle two at a time. But that’s usually down to my poor planning. The fact the USB-A output is only a slow charger really doesn’t bother me in the slightest, it’ll still get the job done.

Excellent for connecting devices to monitors and TVs on the go.
I purchased one of these to connect my son’s Nintendo Switch to hotel TV’s during travel. Not only did this function work perfectly, but it also works with laptops as an impromptu docking station as well as with my Ipad Pro for streaming video. One little quirk to note is this device has two different “modes”. There is a “charging mode” where both USB ports will provide power for charging. But when an HDMI cable is connected and it goes into “video mode,” the USB A port becomes a USB 3.0 passthru to whatever is connected to the USB C port and the device connected to the USB A port may not charge.

Lasted a year
Cable stopped working after 3 months and I read there was a 90-day warranty (how convenient). Used another cable instead since device still worked fine.Travelled a handful of times and brought this as my only charger and worked great.Fast forward a little over a year after purchase and doesn’t work at all now. No display out and charging is hit or miss.Liked it, but not enough to buy a new one every year.
