I don’t know how and why this stuff works so well but it works and it smells so good! In my house we have all different types of hair from coily to curly to wavy and some of us have all three types on our head! It works for every single type of curly hair! The jar says to use on dry hair but I used my continuous spray water bottle and got my hair a little wet, not soaked, and put a little in my hair. You honestly only need a little because it definitely glides on and spreads easily. I parted my hair in quarters then I sectioned those quarters off in quarters and just applied the product on each of those parts then used my untangle brush and it literally just glided right through! Please believe me when I tell you that this stuff is the holy grail of hair washing day for people with coily and curly hair! AND IT SMELLS SO GOOD!!! After you apply it leave it on for 15 minutes like the jar says and then just wash your hair like you would normally do! You can definitely tell the difference when you actually wash your hair, it makes the shampoo not dry your hair out and seems like it makes the shampoo work even better! I didn’t use their shampoo and conditioner that goes with it because I’m a Shea Moisture girly but this product still worked really good for me. I’m sure if you get this, the pre-shampoo, and the shampoo and conditioner your hair will do amazing! Seriously, just buy it already, you will not regret it! Your scalp will Thankyou for not torturing it trying to comb out your hair!

One of the best detangling products I’ve ever used
I used this product for the first time yesterday and I was so surprised by how much it detangled my hair. I wear my hair in braids often, so this product was so effective and gentle. It worked so good to the point that I’ll be using it every wash day. I experienced less breakage and the smell is incredible. You really don’t have to do much. The product does the hard work for you! The price is also amazing. I give this product a 10/10.

Good product!
My son has tight curls that are 4b/4c hair texture and he is also terrified of getting his face wet so hair washing day is extremely difficult especially on my bad back, I applied this product as instructed and let it sit for about 10-15 minutes and then got ready to rinse. After about 10 minutes of rinsing I noticed it wasn’t coming out and my back was in pain so I knew I couldn’t do this for much longer, I kept pushing through with rinsing for another 10 minutes and it still was not coming out all the way. I got him out of the tub and had him stand over the sink so my back could get some relief and I finally started to see results after another 5 minutes or so but I could still see some product in his hair. I eventually got it all out but man oh man was that difficult. His curls were more defined and his hair was definitely clean but boy was that difficult. I may have used to much of the product and since that may be the case I’m going to continue using it but just a lot less of it and I also followed up with using a leave in moisturizer that made his hair look moisturized and healthy. The product itself has a light hint of aloe and coconut that smells really nice. Hopefully this product works as well for us as it did for some of the other reviewers!

It’s worth the money. I use it every time I take my braids out. It got a very nice slip. It smells good. It defines the curls and it helps detangle

The product works well especially for my 4c hair, but jeez please package it well when shipping or it spills everywhere

When I used it my hair was slightly tangled, but this made it extremely tangled and knotty, it was like a bird’s nest, it took me almost two hours to detangle it.My hair was never ever this tangled before.I think I lost almost a quarter of my hair that day, or even more, it was a huge ball of hair, so upsetting.My hair was so high density to the point I used to have to stick my fingers inside my hair a bit to feel my scalp, now I can easily feel my scalp from outside.That means that I lost a great deal of hair.I think it will takee two years to get my hair to its original stats. Heartbroken.Made my hair so dry and brittle too, I noticed also a lot of breakage.The only explanation I have is that it’s not suitable for low porosity hair, but for high porosity only.Even that explanation is not enough, like why?!Terrible product, do not recommend.
