Easy to set up, totally quiet
I’ve been looking for an air purifier for quite some time and there are plenty to choose from. In this case I wanted a room-size purifier; I’ll also get one that covers more square footage. This is bedroom size, and we get a lot of dust in that room. Plus the cat likes to sleep there during the day. It was a simple set up, and when they say it’s quiet, it’s more quiet than I imagined it could be. You can’t tell from sound that it’s even on. The top has a light that can change colors, and while they say it can be a nightlight, for me it’s too bright for that. But it turns off so no problem. My only quibble is that there’s only a place on the side you have to tap just right to work that light, no switch, and it’s tricky to find and use. I’ve noticed a decrease in dust accumulating on furniture in the room. So far it’s effective and unobtrusive.

It looks great and doesnât make any sound and doesnât have an odor. It is in the open part of my house but I might be able to tell more of how well it is purifying if I put it in a bedroom of somebody with allergies. So far so good.

Jury still out, but not looking good
Just got our first AirFree a few days ago for our college student. Arrived poorly packed and inside wrapping was torn, with cardboard cushions ripped/torn. One side of the unit was slightly open which I had to snap back together. Bad first impression and made me wonder if this was a returned unit or refurbished. Skeptical about the quality and reputation of the company before it was even plugged in.We decided to plug it in and have had it ârunningâ since. Is it REALLY running? Only the light is on but there is no air flow coming out of the top (like an illustration on their site indicates). Side note: it is very easy to change the color of light or turn it off altogether with a tap to the little icon on front of machine. (Not well explained in instruction booklet.).Issue: How does this effectively clean the air in the room if there is no air circulation through the machine? How do we know if this is working and then working well?Issue: Iâve contacted the company with questions via email that I found on their main website- the messaging link via Amazon took me to another company altogether having to do with automotive products. And phone number is no longer working. I have yet to hear anything back from the company. I am on the verge on returning this product and going with an air purifier that has better service and filters where you can tell the item is doing the job. I wanted to believe in this company and its technology but this could really be the best scam ever. How would we ever really know????No noise, size is great. No smell.Customer service seemingly unreachable at this point after a few days. Packaging, poor.

Iâll Buy Another
I have an older model also that has a larger circumference. I like this slimmer model better because it takes up less surface area. Both are filterless, which is wonderful. Iâve had the older model (same manufacturer) for seven years. I bought it for my living quarters in Afghanistan (dust, dusty, dustier!). I hope this new, slimmer model will hold up to the reputation of its older brother. Iâm going to order another one next paycheck to replace the older one, which is cracked. A kid dropped it. Itâs still working though! So far I like this companyâs air purifiers. Theyâre tough.

I moved it and now it won’t work
I really wanted to like this. Maybe I received a faulty one-that can happen. I plugged it in and all seemed great for a few days. Then I moved it. After this the light on top blinks and it’s stopped working. I looked through the manual and it mentioned that if the light is blinking it is because it’s not on a flat surface (it is). It doesn’t matter where I place it-it just blinks. I believe the sensor is faulty, I am going to be asking for a replacement and try again.

Thought this wouldâve been bigger
I thought it would be bigger. There was an odd Oder from the unit. Maybe because it was cleaning the air, but it kinda made my nose dry.

If you are searching for a unit that removes mites and allergens this may be for you. Problem I see is that their is literally no suction at the bottom if you put a piece of tissue near it. So I guess the mites and allergens like the look of this thing and fly in for destruction.. ya right! If you are searching for a product that removes ALL of the nasties in your room including dust without having to purchase Hepa or other type of filter go elsewhere, and as I have found out, they do not exist. Do not get fooled by the description, this is NOT a true Air Purifier, it does NOT remove dust (or any other unseen particles flying around your room, except maybe the hungry mites and allergens. Customer service is useless, they will tell you as long as there is warm air coming out of it then it is working…. case closed…. Thanks to Amazon customer service for taking these things back, they turned an ugly purchase into a refund.
