just want to issue with the lid is it supposed to just sit on top and not be pushed down
Is the lid supposed to sit floating on top and not be pushed down because it just pops back up when I try to shut it all the way and the fluoride filters is it okay that they’re just in the water with the filtered water like the plastic Will that do anything to clean water

It works fantastic. I added the fluoride filters. The water is clean and tastes great. Easy to put together. It would be nice if they sent better instructions on priming the filters. I watched a you tube video on priming the filters.

So far, better than expected
When you open the box the padding might look foreboding. You may want to do what I almost did and rip the stuffing out, but that would be a mistake. If you lay the box on its side and gently pull the foam (?) out, it will 1) be easier to get to everything, and 2) allow you to pack it all securely back in the box if you want to store it.We have another water filter that is all metal. I have heard about metallic taste with these, but it’s never been an issue for us because we have so many people using it – we cycle through it pretty continuously.On one hand, I liked the idea of seeing the water and the filter, and not having to lift the lid to see how close it was to needing refilled. On the other hand, I don’t have to worry as much about the metal one breaking or our hard water building up on the inside and not looking nice.It may not be warranted, but I don’t move this if I can help it, and anytime I touch it I make sure to be gentle, from the setup on. I am always careful with plastic pieces because I’ve tightened them too much before and they broke, but with this I was also afraid to tighten the spigot too much and crack the glass. The silicone washers help alleviate that worry, but I’m still very careful when handling this system.It would also be nice if they wrote their instructions more as if the user knows nothing about water filtration systems. I’ve used them in the past so was able to make my way through the instructions, but without that prior experience I would have been phoning a friend.I also wish I would have gotten the fluoride filters.It does look very nice, with the glass containers and bamboo (I believe) lid. And I admit I do look forward to people seeing it =) The price is also nice compared to what our metal one cost.If we still had young ones racing around the house I’d probably stick with metal, but now that they’re older, this is a nice option.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.

I was really hoping this would work but my ppms went up from my faucet water and the test strips showed different things that my faucet water didn’t even show.

My first one arrived damaged but i was quickly sent a replacement. The stand seemed flimsy at first but once set up it is sturdy. The water tastes great. I have had the filter for three months so far and no leaking from the tap at all. Overall I recommend this product. Happy to find a glass filter system and NOT plastic!

Does not get water below 83 ppm
My tap water is 77PPMâs I put it in this filter system after cleaning it and soaking the filters over and over for 24 hours like the instructions said , how can my water be 10 points higher than my tap? How long does it take to clean these filters 24 hours two days Iâm going on! Iâm gonna try ceramic filters, getting rid of these filters , if the ceramic filters donât work, then Iâm returning the whole product very unsatisfied. Iâm giving it another 24 hours of cleaning the filters and soaking them to see if it does anything. The Brita filters and the other ones and the grocery stores work better than this so disappointed

Don’t tighten the FR filter too much, it will snap. Or the screws on the legs, they are janky and strip the wood easily. I’m very disappointed right now. Hopefully I can get a replacement filter

I spent a lot of time trying to find a plastic free water filter, and it was really difficult. This one is minimal plastic, which is why I picked it. The plastic that it does have is such poor quality, that both and pieces snapped off when I was trying to put it together. Very disappointed.
