100% worth the peace of mind
Iâve had the Ring Battery Doorbell for a few months now, and it has completely transformed the way I secure and monitor my home. As someone who values both convenience and safety, this doorbell has been a game-changer in terms of functionality, ease of use, and peace of mind.First, the installation was incredibly straightforward. I was able to set it up myself in about 20 minutes, thanks to the clear instructions and the fact that it’s wire-free. The battery lasts surprisingly long too, even with regular motion detection and video use. Iâve only had to recharge it a couple of times, and the process is quick and easy. The video quality is excellentâcrystal clear even in low light, which is essential for those early morning or late-night deliveries. The wide-angle lens gives a clear view of whoâs at the door, and the motion detection feature is spot-on. I get instant alerts on my phone whenever someone is approaching, and I love that I can see and speak to visitors directly through the app. Whether Iâm at home or out running errands, I can easily communicate with delivery people or guests, which is great for convenience and security.Another feature I love is the two-way audio. The sound quality is surprisingly clear on both ends, and Iâve been able to have full conversations with delivery drivers, neighbors, and even the occasional solicitor. The built-in siren also offers an added layer of securityâif I ever feel unsafe, I can sound it directly from the app.The Ring app itself is intuitive and user-friendly, with everything you need in one place. You can review video clips, adjust settings, and even link it with other smart devices for an integrated security system. Itâs so easy to use, even for someone who isnât particularly tech-savvy.In summary, the Ring Battery Doorbell has exceeded my expectations. Itâs reliable, easy to install, and provides real-time alerts that help keep my home secure. The video quality and two-way communication make it stand out among other doorbell cameras, and I feel much more confident knowing I can monitor my doorstep from anywhere. If you’re looking for a high-quality, user-friendly doorbell camera that doesnât require complicated wiring, this is definitely worth the investment!

Installs quickly. Great quality.
I got the Ring doorbell to replace a Google doorbell that was installed by ADT as a “free gift” for purchasing ADT. That Google doorbell was horrible. The doorbell was wired to my house making it difficult to remove to charge. The Google doorbell would buffer often, wouldn’t work when the weather was cold and would often tell you to retry when trying to load it on your phone. But this isn’t about the Google doorbell. It is about the Ring which I found more Superior in every way. A friend installed it in less than 5 minutes. I find the quality of the videos are very clear. The range of view (panning) is much wider. There’s so much more I have to learn since I haven’t had it very long. I’d highly recommend.Edit: if you’re willing to pay a subscription, otherwise, all you’ll have is a doorbell camera that will NOT ALLOW you to view PREVIOUS incidents. It’s still a good doorbell camera but you need a subscription for more and better features. I’ve since found a more superior doorbell camera that uses a SD card. No subscription.

Fantastic! Super easy to set up and install.
This review is for the RING NO DRILL MOUNT (purchased separately) and the RING VIDEO DOORBELL.This is my second Ring battery doorbell, and I must say the adhesive mount is impressive. I used the small screws provided with the adhesive mount to attach it to the bracket that came with the doorbell. After that, I clicked the doorbell onto the mount and placed the entire setup on my front door. The adhesive is strong and secure! The doorbell functions perfectly. I feel safer in my apartment and am able to prevent package theft as well. I LOVE RING doorbells!

Reliable Ring Camera with Impressive Battery Life, Minor WiFi Issues
The Ring Camera is an excellent choice for home security, offering clear video quality, easy installation, and an impressively long battery life. I was pleasantly surprised by how long the battery lasts between charges, making it a convenient option for those who don’t want to constantly worry about recharging. The motion detection works well, and the app is user-friendly, allowing for quick access to live footage and notifications. The only drawback I’ve noticed is that the camera occasionally has trouble staying connected to WiFi, even though my router is close by. While it’s not a constant issue, there have been times when the connection drops unexpectedly. However, when itâs working, the camera delivers reliable performance and peace of mind.Overall, this Ring Camera is a great investment for anyone looking for a battery-powered security solution, with just a small hiccup in connectivity that could be improved.

Totally Pleasantly Surprised!
My friend has a Ring Doorbell and I drug my feet for a few years. I got these — so easy to install (I had my handyman install the bracket in concrete) Not even 5 mins for that. Easy to set up on your phone, User Friendly (and I’m Tech Challenged), the Clarity and scope are amazing. Easy to turn off/on, You can set the time for movement alerts up to 120 seconds. The audio and microphone are very clear. I am going on 2 months now and still my battery is at 75%. The little ‘key’ is simple to use to remove these to charge when you need to. I set mine at night and turn off in the mornings. A good feature is that when you are looking at a live feed at night — it is very clear. I would recommend these cameras to anyone. If you have questions about how to do something — Google has given me simple and precise and easy directions to follow and they work! BTW: I did purchase extra storage for History up to 6 months I believe — for 2 it was just shy of $100 — well worth the investment.

Recently purchased the Ring Camera, and I couldnât be happier with my decision. The build quality is excellent, and the camera provides a clear, crisp view of the doorstep. Installation was a breeze â within minutes, I had it set up and paired with my phone. The calling bell feature is especially useful, as it allows me to see who is at the door and have a live conversation with them, even when Iâm not home. Itâs a game-changer for convenience and security as we can also setup the range/area for detection and eliminated unnecessary false warnings.Highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly smart doorbell camera!

Great unit with a decent picture and plenty of setting adjustments to make it right for you. I do prefer the removable battery model, which is so convenient to recharge. I keep a second battery charged so there is virtually no down time and itâs a two minute job to change. As well. with a Ring solar charger, the battery changes only happen in winter for me as the sun is not on the doorbell then.I have a Basic subscription for the doorbell but I think the fact that if I wanted to add a home camera to the system Iâd have to pay 3 times the cost for a Ring Plus subscription is simply outrageous. Iâve just got some TP-Link Tapo internal cameras instead, which I can view live and they have SD card for recording.

Working with Alexa the doorbell yells that someone is at the front door all over the house. Work very well and the camera is excellent.

Unfortunately I was unaware that you need to pay a yearly subscription for the ring doorbell to work properly.
