Good – with some room for improvement
The Apotheke Scent Tower works as advertised with some minor room for improvement. Here’s what you need to know before investing in a Scent Tower for your home:If this is your first electronic diffuser, the idea is that they work like a nebulizer. They create a very fine mist of oil, almost like smoke, which allows the fragrance to linger in the air longer. The concept works, with the right oil, you can control the strength of the scent and how long it lingers. Pro tip: Invest in some good oil made for electronic diffusers. My first attempt used cheap multi purpose essential oil and while this did work, the difference is night and day. Expect to spend 30-60 bucks on a quality oil.The good point:Comes well packaged and has a luxury feel to it. Design is pleasant and does not clash with any modern interior, it looks like a smart speaker.The diffusion works great. It has 3 levels (high-med-low) which equate to how much oil it will put in the air. Essentailly it controls ON-OFF time. The machine will release a puff of mist and then rest for a couple of minutes depending on setting. The puff of scent is visible and looks like smoke until it disperses which takes a minute in still air. I recommend putting this somewhere that the air will get circulated.Although it is not documented anywhere, the Scent Tower has a pretty substantial battery in it making it portable. It charges via USB-C and once charged I can get a full day of use out of it. This is nice because in my experience, the scent doesn’t travel well into different rooms. It can cover a 800-1000 sqft open area pretty well but don’t expect it to go into the bedrooms and closets. The battery allows you to move it around as needed.The controls are straightforward and it take no time to set up. If it came with oil (it doesn’t) you could be up and running in 2 minutes. Everything is controlled via a wireless RF remote. Don’t lose the remote because there’s no way to control it on the device itself.It comes with a couple of extra nozzles and a storage bag which is a nice touchThe Bad:Instructions – they’re awful. Many of the features, such as what the lights mean, the battery, etc. are just undocumented. That being said, it’s mostly easy to figure out.Controls – This is a big drawback. The remote looks flimsy and if it should break you’re stuck with a 200 dollar paperweight. It would have been nice to have an app control or a physical button on the device itself.Noise – You can hear it running, this makes the device fairly obtrusive in a living room or bedroom environment. It would have been nice to be able to schedule it during nighttime or times when nobody is home. The remote does have a timer option, but only lets it turn off after a set period of time. You would have to push a remote button every day to use this consistently.Cost- there are cheaper better options out there however the Scent Tower does what it claims and will keep your home smelling great

I still do not know which scent bottle would fit. I bought the oil from them. But clearly it is too small to fit.

CAN be used without remote!
I purchased this Apotheke essential oil diffuser for a multitude of the reasons. This does perform very well. It diffuser the essential oil correctly, and the main part of my home smells wonderful (I used my own scent from Maple Holistics).Instructions included-but very vague.Scent bottle and spare lid included.A total of 4 tubes/nozzles included.Comes in nice packaging-very giftable.Velvet bag for diffuser.Little clearish plastic cap included, but no explanation for use….Rechargeable.Usb-c cord and a power block come with unit.Remote with button cell battery included.Rubber bottom.Slightly flared base to help prevent tip over.Slim light included to use as night light or select to come on when spraying.So, it’s easy to set up. The scent bottle fits securely, but it’s suggested to not tip unit. No directions given about the charging aspect-how long it takes to charge unit and approximate run time on the charge.After charging fully, I used the unit without power cord for 1 minute. The indicator light blinked upon recharging unit for 10 minutes.The remote control works well. The timers and different settings work accurately.*IMPORTANT What I did discover is that this unit CAN be operated without the remote. You press the blue light power button on the unit, and I found it will dispense scent. I haven’t messed with the button enough to discover the spacing of the sprays etc.The color is described as “matte white”. It is a matte finish, but the white is not a pure white. I’ve included a picture with regular printer paper next to the top of the Apotheke diffuser to show color comparison.I reduced my review rating due to the lack of instructions for using this diffuser without the remote, and for lack of guidance about the Rechargeable aspects and run time. And lastly, while this is a form of “white” color, it’s not a pure white like expected.I feel the price of 175 is a bit higher value than I think it should be. This is a very good dispenser of essential oils, attractive clean lines, easy to clean etc, but due to the price, I might not recommend it.
