Excellent entertainment for indoor cat!
We received the AsFrost interactive cat toy today and am highly impressed!âPer the instructions, we immediately charged the motor using the charging cord provided in the box, which we plugged into our own USB charger.âThe charging cord is a nice quality braided cord.âMotor arrived mostly charged, so it only took approx. 15 min to fully charge and for the charging light to turn green.âSet up of the unit was easy. We set it up around our dining room table, which allows our cat (4 yrs old) to use the table chairs to hide/stalk the toy but yet has plenty of room to run around the table chasing down the toy.âThe rope is soft and if our cat lays on it, both the toy/rope stop moving, so thereâs no risk of him getting hurt/entangled in it.âThe toy makes a mouse sound, which we initially kept on to entice our cat from another room, however, it can be turned off, if desired. We have since turned off the sound as once our cat was engaged in playing with the toy, he was then indifferent to the sound.âOur cat was a little apprehensive at first (always is with anything new) but after a few minutes, he became so excited/engaged with this toy and began chasing it around and talking to it.âI like that it has 3 different speeds. We started him off at the slow (walk) speed, which I would say is more like power walking and he took to this toy unlike any other interactive toy heâs played with.âThe motor is quiet, so when they play with it at night, it does NOT disrupt our sleep. ;)âThe toy runs for 15 min and then shuts off. Once it shut off, he still pounced/played with the feather toy, all the while chatting up a storm. He continued to paw at the feather toy in hopes to revive it and even walked up to the motor inquisitively trying to see how to turn it back on (yep, heâs a smart one).We intend on turning this on in the morning before we leave for work, midday (on the days we WFH) and at night before bedtimeâto release his energy, exercise him and hopefully aid in a restful daytime nap/nightâs sleep.Overall: excellent toy for indoor cats and is unique in its design (never saw anything like this before). Highly engaging/entertaining for our cat and even found it fun/entertaining to watch his excitement as he played with it. Our cat gives it four paws up!!

Lives up to the hype!
My cat has never been entertained for so long by a toy (that is’nt me on the other end of a fishpole). Seems expensive, but worth every penny. The thing moves for a while in one direction, then stops and goes the other direction. Just perfect. Speed is highly adjustable. This hilariously came without any assembly instructions, but is in fact easy to figure out. You can really configure this in a bunch of different ways, with string of varying lengths, using 3 or all 4 pulleys. Just an awesome kit that lives up to the hype.

High energy cat is never bored!
This toy is amazing! My cat Daisy usually gets bored with toys so quickly and itâs hard to cure her boredom. This toy keeps her entertained for literal hours. When she tires out from chasing it, she will sit nearby and watch it closely until she feels like chasing it again. Iâm so happy I bought it. Itâs a little pricey, but because she loves it so much it was 100% worth it. My only criticism is that I wish the remote had a power button!

Mostly a big hit with my son’s 2 cats. The biggest drawbacks are:1. The string breaks because one of the cats chews on it. And this happens pretty frequently – usually within 10 minutes of it running.2. The remote does not work out of the box. Even changing batteries did not help.Neither of these drawbacks are deal breakers though. We like that it is highly configurable. We can place it high, low, under things, use all pullies or just 2 pullies, etc. So the cats don’t get bored. We also noticed that both cats are attracted to the knots on the string (more than one because of breakage). So we left little tails on the knots and they chase the knots. Neither cat is bothered by the noise of the device.Would definitely recommend.

Best cat toy ever!!!
Holy smokes this thing is awesome!! I looked all over the internet for something like this and couldn’t find anything that was reasonably priced until I found this one. The reviews don’t do it justice, it works fantastic and is very well designed! The system just needs a little bit of tension to work, I used the built in loops on the back of the pulleys to anchor them with zip ties to heavy objects and it works great! The tops open up so you can remove/insert the rope easily and when set up properly it is very fast and strong (not stronger than my cats, they can stop it, it would be dangerous if it were any stronger)! I wish the automated mode changed direction more frequently, but the remote absolutely makes up for it!! It is very well made and every time you let go of the button it changes directions for a brief moment which allows you to wiggle the rope back and forth SUPER FAST which all of my cats love!! I have only had it for a day so hopefully it lasts a long time, but it made a great first impression!!!
