Most formula containers are 1 scoop for every 2 oz of water. When my daughterâs doctor instructed us to give her three ounces at a time I either had to make 4oz and waste an ounce (ouch – formula is expensive) or make a whole pitcher of formula at a time to be able to give her 3oz. Which with mom brain – I would forget to make the pitcher. Having the 1 ounce scoop is amazing and makes my life so much easier.

My SIL typically makes all of the bottles and is sooooo precise with all of his measurements..water and formula. I was tired of wasting formula. I needed 3 oz of formula not 4oz. So I got these. Was a little skeptical at first but with a food scale and many times or repeated weighting. The half scoop is great. The big scoop does not measure out correctly. But that didnt bother me. I just wanted this for the half scoop. I use this For Bubs infant formula. I’m not sure how it measures out for other formulas but for Bubs, the half scoop measures correctly.
