Works great!
It has a tiny smell of bleach but it takes the stinky odor away! My duaghrmters soccer cleats were so stinky. Everytime she takes them off I use the spray and I am able to stick them right in her bag!! Highly recommend the try! I got the big spray bottle. Plenty of product!

Unscented and Effective
Actually a good product for getting rid of odors. I play hockey weekly and this is the only product that actually gets rid of the smell of my gear without making me smell like oranges or lavender or something. It smells like a swimming pool when you spray it but it goes away within a few minutes and it just smells like nothing—which is actually very nice compared to the alternatives.

This is legit – removed set in odors in sports cleats, uniforms and pads . Cleats took a few rounds of spray , and yea initially it smells a bit like chlorine in the pool- but that goes away in minutes.Would buy by the gallon!!

I’m in construction, my feet are in heavy work boots for 10- 12 hours a day . The oder that hits my nose when removing my boots after work could drop a Billie goat. This product actually works great, I spray it in my boots the second they come off each day and they don’t smell anymore. The product itself smells bad though, atleast not like foot oder. There are sprays that have a mint aroma, I’ll be sticking with those type. I found they work as well. Although for the money, you do get quite a large bottle.

It’s “OK at best”. Effectiveness probably depends on what its being sprayed on.
After about two weeks of football practice, my son’s helmet STUNK! (Like, we left it in the car one day and THAT was a bad idea come the following day! It made being in the car almost unbearable!)You could actually see the gunk starting to form on the bottom of the pads in the back where it would rub against the back of the neck. Yeah, that’s nasty. So I wiped that off and liberally sprayed the entire inside. Almost immediately I could smell it working, as the reaction of the bacteria is what causes the familiar chlorine-like smell. (You only smell chlorine when it’s actually interacting with bacteria. If you don’t smell it, the chlorine is still there, but it means the pool or surface is already clean.)The spray never actually got rid of the entire smell. Now I liberally spray/saturate the inside of the helmet after every practice. It still stinks the following day, but not nearly as bad. Unfortunately, helmets don’t have user-detachable pads, so you’re limited to cleaning only what you can easily access.Perhaps if I had started using this after Day 1 and everyday thereafter, it might be more effective. But at this point, I think the stink (bacteria?) is just too established for this spray to effectively get rid of it.The other annoyance, as I think others have noted, is the spray head itself. VERY poorly made. It spins freely, which I don’t think is a ‘feature’. And the pump handle tends to stick after one or two pulls. So it either has a weak return spring or it’s just not designed well enough to return the handle back to the starting position on its own.

I have a pair of all leather slip on and off shoes that I wear in Hawaii without socks I wore them new for a couple of weeks and the perspiration odor became so offensive I couldn’t wear them and had to leave them outside. I treated the with Battle three times with a soaking application left to dry overnight. That eliminated about half of the odor. Another two applications of the same sort and the odor is gone. I have not required repeat applications after several weeks, but have plenty left if that become necessary. Great product.

My son needed something powerful that would remove odor and bacteria smell from his football gear that canât go into the washer (pads, helmet, cleats etc). This stuff works by not covering up the smell with a perfume but removing it or absorbing it somehow. -And my son sweats A LOT!
