Better than Infant Optics!!
This is my first time having a touch screen monitor and I will say it did take a little getting used to (but it didn’t take long). This is MUCH better than our Infant Optics we used for less than a year before the battery failed and night vision went out of one camera. The image quality of this CasaCam is amazing!! I love the large screen. I’m using this monitor with two cameras – A minor thing dislike is if I’m carrying the monitor and accidentally touch the screen, it will stop the monitor on the camera being viewed without me realizing it. So I’m only able to hear one child until it clicks that I’ve been listening to the same song over and over, ha. If only there was a way to lock the screen somehow? Especially when tiny hands get ahold of it and go to town pressing every spot on the screen. That isn’t enough to make me not recommend this camera though. I really do love it!Something I wish that was different is the volume button. I wish it could be on the side and not make it a touch feature… Here’s why. If I want to change the volume I have to select a screen which stops the scanning process. Then I have to go back through the steps to continue scanning between cameras. It doesn’t take long and it’s a minor inconvenience. However, it would just be super convenient to change the volume in one step rather than four. I also wish the volume was louder. It’s fine when inside but when outside it’s rather hard to hear. These are minor things that I find annoying at times. Like I said above, it’s not enough to make me not recommend this!The charging stand to set the monitor on is a neat feature! There’s a divot in the stand that makes it easy for placing the monitor on it. Do a slight wiggle to make sure it’s placed and there ya go!I regret spending as much as I did for the infant optics. Wish I had this years ago! I highly recommend.Pictured is the split screen feature. I typically use the scanning feature because you cannot turn off the screen when in split-screen mode.

It is a life send to monitor my handicap brother.
I love all the features. I purchased extra camera. It only comes with one camera with the monitor screen. So this camera was the extra one I bought with the monitor that of course comes with one camera. My cameras I use to monitor my handicap brother’s bathroom and his bedroom. The picture quality is not like HD, but it has good color in day and good night vision. You can clearly see details. It is what I was hoping for. Love that it has a temperature monitor on screen, can talk to my brother with tapping mic icon on screen, has great 180º turn from side to side. Much better then expected. Actually I could have gotten by with one camera to monitor his bathroom and bedroom. Had I known that I wouldn’t have bought the 2nd camera. Camera can turn up direction really good but lacks a little for how far down it can look. All commands are done from the monitor screen (like a little TV or large mobile phone screen). I am very pleased with this product. Easy to set up. To get the 2nd camera to connect with the monitor you have to hold a little button on the under bottom of the camera for a few seconds to get it to talk to the monitor unit. That easy. The camera that comes with the monitor is already set up to talk to the monitor. You don’t have to really read the instructions to operate it. Just play with the icons on the monitor screen and within 5 minutes you will learn all its features and how it works. Very intuitive to operate. I am super pleased with this product. My monitor unit only lasts about 3 1/2 hours before needing charging but it sets in its charging cradle most of the time. It’s not a problem. At night I connect it up and place it on my night stand, during the day it usually sits in charging cradle out in my kitchen or living room. It is very mobile and easy to move around. Don’t need the charging cradle constantly because 3 1/2 hours charge works well for carrying it with me when I need to do things in other areas of the house to monitor him. This is a great support to use when you need to watch a disabled or elderly person, which my brother is both. It saves me a lot of steps to check on him all the time and he needs to be monitored all the time.

Great for the price
This is actually my third camera (second add on) that I got because I needed another camera after my second child was born and didn’t have a lot of money to shell out on another ibaby monitor. I liked the first one so much, I ended up getting another one for the playroom and then replaced the ibaby after it stopped working. I did have an issue with this latest camera. It worked fine when I first received it and then started losing power randomly. I requested an exchange and less then 48 hours later they had sent me a replacement without any hassle and so far the replacement is working great. The picture quality isn’t as good as the ibaby was but it’s still awesome for something in this price range. The only real bummer is the battery life. It lasts maybe two hours in Vox mode unplugged so I have to charge it throughout the day and at night it sits on the dock next to my bed
