This is a knee sleeve, not a brace
I like this knee sleeve very much, because that is exactly what I was looking for — light compression, light support. I have numerous strong compression knee “braces” for walking and exercising. They are thick, black and heavy. That’s not what I wanted. I wanted something that provides moderate support in everyday activities without wearing a brace. That’s what I believe this is. Personally, I wouldn’t use it for heavy exercising like running or even distance walking….but for my purposes (cleaning at home, grocery shopping, puttering in the garage), it is just what I wanted. It DOESN’T have those nasty silicone grips at the top, which is wonderful, and the fabric is warm and comforting. And, it washes well too. And for the price, it’s economical. I think I am going to order another pair. I got what I wanted. UPDATED Oct. 2019. I just ordered 4 more of these sleeves! — and changed my rating from 4 stars to 5 stars. I love this knee sleeve because it DOESN’T have nasty silicone grips that assault my skin. That’s a primary reason. But I also use these sleeve for basic around-the-house mild compression, and they do a great job. In addition, recently I had some calf problems and used it overnight for the tiniest bit of compression on my calf, and it was just perfect. Again — it’s not a brace for heavy running or exercising, BUT it absolutely has some wonderful uses in daily living. I recommend it for that purpose. I now have 6 of these!

Great knee sleeves!
These have been my go-to knee sleeves for 5 years now. In my most recent order there was a sizing issue, but I have to say that their customer service was excellent and they took care of the problem straight away. I’m a bit concerned that they are not carrying the extra large in either the gray or black any longer, so I am hoping it is just a temporary inventory problem and will be resolved soon. But I wear these on a daily basis and recommend them highly.

So far, these sleeves have held up as expected. They are comfortable and provide light support for the activities of which I have used them ( HIIT, treadmill work, rowing) While I would use them each time to warm up with, I cannot determine yet how they will hold up under heavy squatting loads as I have not yet used them for that battery of exercises. The product for the price is a great value and Bear KompleX offers excellent customer support and great products for all types of fitness regimens. Make sure to check out their hand grips – they are second to none.

What are you looking for?
Purchased these knee sleeves to help adjust my knees to new movements (Squats). I was using powerlifting 7mm knee sleeves beforehand, and have recently switched to weightlifting. 7mm knee sleeves (not these) created resistance and had way better support for loaded movements. Upon using these I realized I could wear them as I was warming up which helped improve warming up of my joints and have had more confidence when it comes to working out. I can leave these on for the whole workout and slide them down with ease when resting. Although I had read that they should not be machine washed, they certainly have held up 2 cycles for me lol. I am very frugal when it comes to purchases, but this one has a good investment, and very functional.

first of all it’s nowhere near 4mm thick, provide 0 support, it is comfortable and soft which is really not what you want a supporting sleeve to beit’s a decent sleeve for general use like for example to wear during the day to keep the knees warm, walking etc..if you planning on using it for any sport or weight lifting activities skip it and get something more appropriate it stretches a lot and offer no real support and i doubt it will have a long life

Great fit with dense fabric and high quality feel.
I went Small (Male, 135lb, 5’7″ athletic build) since I wasn’t sure and wanted to be safe since most knee compression sleeves aren’t meant to be baggy and I am glad that I did. Fits nice and tight but not too tight, not worried about it falling down at all. Using these for summer softball since I don’t want to wear pants but still want to slide headfirst into bases without skinning my knees every week, so I’m glad that they are a bit on the thicker side in terms of fabric density. One thing to note, they’re definitely smaller in terms of length than what you think they will be based on the pictures shown. Also, the “Bear Komplex” logo is on the bottom of the sleeves, not toward the top where your thigh will be for what it’s worth. Other than that, I think they will work out well for what I have planned.

Cool, Comfortable and Supportive
So glad that I found this on Amazon. My left knee has been bothersome for the last few months. I have tried the knee brace from the drug store, but it was uncomfortable when I wore it to the gym. I also tried the wrap. It worked. But the Bear KomplexX Sleeves are both comfortable and provide enough support for my weak knee. The only learning curve I had was to pull the sleeve higher on the thigh so I don’t have to keep pulling it up and it stayed where it supposed to be at. And it stays cool throughout my exercises. My friend at my gym class asked how I like it, and I told her I highly recommend it. I told her to look it up at Amazon. I waited two weeks before I write this review to make sure I really like it.

Size down for better compression!
I hope this helps! I ordered these 2 years ago I am 5ft back then 124lbs and I had ordered a size medium. It fit, but it wasnât compressed and I was a circumference of 13â. I lost them unfortunately but decided to reorder because I love the material and this time I decided to size down and WOOOWW. I have aches on bilateral knees after even just standing and the compression of this relieves my knees so much! I can imagine with squatting itâll help me too, therefore I was at the borderline of the size chart and small is a great compression than medium so size down!

There is no size in the description on Amazon which would lead one to believe that one size might fit all????When you open up th package it has a small “S”.I am 120 lb. woman who is 5’2″.Disappointed when you pay over $50 for a product made in China. I would return it but I am in pain and I have waited over a week for delivery.Never again.

Unfortunately these knee sleeves do not remain in place but just roll up into a small band that doesn’t cover the knee at all. I was disappointed as it appeared as though they would be a good allrounder for doing workouts in but sadly they just get in the way and don’t cover the knee at all.
