Works as it should
Let’s be clear, these are not commercial grade appliances at this price point. I believe as long as expectations are proper for what you’re buying, your experience will be similar to mine.This griddle works good. It heats up quickly and maintains temp as it should. There are some spots along the edge where it’s a little uneven, but that’s the nature of the beast using these small portable electric griddles. It takes a few minutes to cool off, but it cleans up easy. The coating has held up well for me, although I never cook much higher than 325-350 on the temp dial. Speaking of temps. Checking it with a temp gun. The griddle heats up to within 20 degrees of desired temperature across the surface, losing a little more on the far side corners of where you plug it in.

Product cooks well but dirties easily.
This was an attractive option for an electric griddle, due to the price and and appearance. The heating element works well, the product fits nicely on top of my glass stove top. It seems to be durable, after months of use I have no issues with the functionality or parts breaking.There is however one large caveat: the nonstick ceramic surface does dirty quickly in some spots. I use a small amount of olive oil before cooking every time and I believe even that small amount is what makes these dark stains on the surface that cannot be scraped off. I have since learned that these stains are somewhat easily removed using baking soda and water. It is not a tremendous inconvenience but still takes away from the ease with a nonstick product.

Got it for a great price, and it’s super convenient! Heats evenly, cooks anything with little to no oil, and makes cooking quick and hassle-free. Perfect for everyday use—highly recommend!

Large size, very slippery, uneven heating
I got this mostly for Korean BBQ, to replace my panini press, which has teflon grill plates. I initially tested this unit with grilled cheese sandwiches, eggs and hash brown potatoes.Some of the pros can also be cons. For instance, the surface is a nice large size — which is great if you are cooking a lot of food, but it wouldn’t be efficient for just a couple of eggs or a couple of sandwiches. Also, since there is only one temperature control for the entire plate, you have to cook everything at the same temperature.Second, the surface is very slippery — which actually makes it difficult to flip foods, and with the low rim, it is easy to slide the food over the edge. After losing some of the hash browns, I ended up using two spatulas to make a barrier to hold the foods in place to be able to flip them. Depending on what you are cooking,, if you are using tongs, this would not be an issue, and would make it easier for cleanup.Also, you have to be careful not to use a lot of butter/oil, because it will just run off into the drip tray. Good for low fat cooking, bad for items that require more fat to cook properly.Cons: It heats up quickly, but pointing with a laser thermometer, there seems to be a lot of uneven temperatures across the surface, with some as much as 75+ F degree swings in temperature.UPDATE — I used this for a Korean BBQ, cooking several rounds of meat. The heating was VERY uneven with some pieces searing quickly, but other just sort of steaming and not browning. I will stick to a “folding” panini press that that opens flat. The cons on this one outweigh the pros.
