How did we get our start?
Dan Black and Martin Blum met while studying industrial design at Northumbria University. In 1998 they formed Black+Blum and based it in London, one of the most diverse and creative cities in the world.

Easy to use and long-lasting
This is a great way to filter water because the sticks last long time and no plastic bottles to recycle. These lightweight sticks can be used anywhere at home at work while traveling.

Great charcoal sticks!
I bought this pack of 4 charcoal sticks to replace my old ones from another brand. This was the most cost effective option (4 sticks can last you 2 years) and they work great! I had no issues with them and my tap water, which normally has a mineral taste, seems to taste very pure now that Iâve started using these. Thank you!!

Excellent Quality
I compared and compared and recompared before buying this water filter. I read online why and how it works. I have been using other activated charcoal for other purposes for years now. This is the highest quality and lasts much longer then other activated charcoal and other types of water filters, it goes through an extra process. Takes a day or two to get use to the minerals back in the water, then after that, not a single problem. I had moved into an area that had PFOAs and PFOSs in the water, I wanted the best water filter possible. I had been using Shungite and another charcoal filter. This brand has the highest quality and longest lasting, too. I think they said they use a laser to increase it’s effectiveness. Money wise, it’s the best bargain. You only use 1 stick for 6 months, I think it does up to 3 gallons at a time.

great purchase
I bought these because I want to filter out as much crap out of our tap water as I can without taking up extra space in our small apartment. These sticks are just perfect for that. We have several one-liter Sodastream bottles in the fridge, and these fit right in. I can already taste a huge difference in the quality of water. I’m very satisfied!

Ci siamo organizzati con delle bottiglie Ikea (quelle con il foro largo e il tappo in sughero) per testare i tronchetti in carbone. In effetti il sapore dellâacqua è cambiato molto: le tubature del nostro stabile sono vecchie e piene di ruggine quindi lâacqua non è gradevole e sicuramente nemmeno troppo salubre. Perciò abbiamo deciso di provare questo prodotto e in effetti lâacqua (dopo una notte di depurazione) si presenta più limpida e dal sapore neutro. Inizialmente si formavano dei piccoli depositi sul fondo (minuscoli pezzettini di carbone) che però sono scomparsi già dopo il terzo uso.

Just plunge the charcoal stick in a jug of water and wait for 1h or more (the more you wait, the more chemicals will be removed). Water taste great and no more plastic bottles! each filter last 6 months (you have to boil it after 3 months to use it again).
