My cat loved them!!
Very good, decent amount for the price and from what I can tell they are pretty good for your cat. However I don’t feed my cat seafood products to I really only gave him the others. I know next time that I need to buy exclusive and not variety.

Kitten loves it!
The cans are pretty small, so it’s suitable for smaller kittens. The quantity cost more than other brands, but the quality is there. It didn’t have a bad smell. Doesn’t dry up quickly. It’s easy for my kitten to eat.

ð ðâs it so much, it makes him so affectionate that he holds me hostage if I stop petting him!
I canât speak for the flavor personally, but my kitten LOVES it, so Iâm gonna say itâs yummy & the ingredient quality is yummy too. The moment I grab a can, he stops what heâs doing and trots after me. When I crack the top, he sits next to me staring at me. Then, when I scoop some out into his little bowl, he pretty much starts wailing at me to hurry it up because heâs literally wasting away! Then, when I lean down to place the bowl on the floor for him, (keeping a firm grip, because heâs knocked the bowl out of my hand before because of his lack of opposable thumbs) he reaches up with both paws like he is taking the dish from me and helping me to place it on the floor! When he is done, he comes and sits next to me or on me, grooms himself, then grooms me, followed by him rolling around next to me & loudly purring, insisting I pet him, by using his paws to coax my hand over to him. And if I stop, he rubs his head on my hands and arms, licks my fingers and makes sure I understand that heâs in charge and I need to get back to work! Somewhere in the middle of all of this, my hair is being groomed (licked & munched on) & my face is getting shredded… I mean âlovingly exfoliatedâ by his little sandpaper tongue. If I even try to playfully hide or ignore him, he will either try to coax me to keep petting, or he will lay on me awkwardly & stare at me! (Iâm certain thereâs some mind control going on at times) I think he might be a little less controlling if there was a discount on this from time to time. ð (Hostage photos attached to prove how controlling this food can makes your kitten!)

Blue buffalo kitten pate – variety fatigue
When we first started the “subscribe and save” for this product, it came in three flavors; 2 cans of each type and now it has been reduced to two flavors! From other reviews I am reading, our kittens are not the only ones getting finicky about the lack of variety. However we are not having the same issues that a number of other reviewers seem to be having with their kittens getting tummy problems. Our kittens (3) are all (and cats 3) strays that we adopted and continue to care for but it is so absurd that the providers are reducing variety on us. What pleases us most about Blue is that these foods are U.S. made and supposed to be of U.S. sourced, real wholesome foods for our beloved animals. We are grateful for this product and don’t begrudge Blue of making a profit but for crying out loud already, STOP REDUCING OUR VARIETIES AND QUANTITY!We switched from the Racheal Ray products because the sizes are too small for our six kittens and cats and we just cannot afford the product anymore. Give us all a break Blue, please. I hope this helps.UPDATE 11 723: Today we cancelled our subscription for this product because our kittens will not eat it anymore. They keep eating the adult foods ( dry and wet ) and leaving the pate uneaten. This started a week ago so they still eat the dry kitten food and we are keeping it since the adult cats like eating it from time to time as well. They ate this for three months until now.

Recommended By My Vet and Kitty Approved!
I was originally recommended the Blue Buffalo brand by my veterinarian after concerns of my cat Briar (who is almost one year’s old) was not hydrating frequently. He recommended that I switch to this wet food and I will say my cat loves it! I feed her about two cans a day (with some snackies here and there for her) and she seems to be growing so fast! Briar is pictured (she’s purring hard-core after seeing the can haha).Pros: Veterinarian recommended food and my kitty loves it.Cons: A little pricey, however if you subscribe to receive food every two weeks or month, you can receive 10% off future orders, which adds up over time!I have a subscription to receive these cans every two weeks, which saves me time and money. I will definitely be purchasing in the future until I get my cat on adult food!

Cats love this food. I will probably change the order, this one is salmon, to beef or chicken to give them more variety. Cans are easily opened without the need for an opener

Seems it’s a product you either love or hate. I think some animals can be picky, others require a special diet which one food can provide and another cannot, but can be the complete reverse for another cat. Then when you add to that multiple cat owners like myself, it may take a couple different tries to find the right food. A food that is good for your cats diet when they’re young may not be as good as they age. I see a lot of one star reviews and I feel people should take them with a grain of salt. Some of those people definitely had an agenda. Remember the anonymity amazon provides people. Anyone can be making those reviews. My kittens are 12 weeks and were on royal canin originally. I got them at 8 weeks and after a few days mixed the foods until there was no more royal canin over the course of about 5 days. They loved both the dry food and the little bit of wet food we give them each night as a small treat.Their fur is gorgeous, so soft seems to keep improving. We do brush them but still it’s a good sign. They’ve got a decent amount of energy and play all day then nap rinse repeat. One of them thinks she’s a cougar the other is a docile lap cat who succumbs to her annoying sisters incessant tacklings. They’re loving this food. My last cat hated healthy food. I think maybe since I got her a little later she already had a taste for the junk food. Bad food for animals is equivalent to drugs for humans. They fiend for the stuff. That’s why getting these kittens 8 weeks old I did a ton of research. This brand came up in the top 2-3 in most of the reviews I read. I liked how it has natural ingredients but it isn’t overpriced, it certainly isn’t cheap and would be a lot cheaper and easier to buy the junk type foods at Walmart for 1/3 the price. You’re here reading reviews for a cat food because you really want what’s best for your best friends. I got lucky and mine liked Royal Canin and these two from blue, my advice is as long as the ingredients are natural and your animal likes it and doesn’t get sick from it, keep them on it for now whether it’s this brand or any other, but give this one a shot.I was generally googling “best kitten food” and going down a rabbit hole. I never knew about the legal issues with Purina or the falsifying of ingredients in one of their dog foods. Unfortunately those only came up now when I went back to leave a review and saw some bad ones. Considering how many I saw their 4.5 star rating is a testament to the product. No product will have perfect reviews and I’m glad I didn’t see them until now. The food has been a hit and my kittens seem very healthy. Will update if there’s a change.

I purchased this set of wet kitten food, as well as some treats from the blue brand and the kitten will not touch either!? The blue brand seems like the healthier option but unfortunately for us it is not gong to work.
