Wisdom teeth must have
This was a LIFE SAVER during my wisdom teeth removal. Doesnât leak, very snug and you can have it cool during the first 3 days and warm for the other 4! I was even able to sleep in this with no problems w slipping.

Amazing for wisdom tooth removal
I definitely suggest this for anyone who is getting their wisdom teeth removed. I ordered mine a few days before my procedure so that I could prep it.It comes with four little gel packs and the wrap it self only uses two at a time. I put all four packs in the freezer before my surgery so that theyâd be ready when I got back. I iced my face with these the first two days and it helped a ton with the swelling. I will say that sometimes after itâs been on for awhile the ice stops feeling cold through the fabric but when that happens I take the gel pack out and just put it directly on my face.After day 2 I would start warming the packs instead of using ice because the warming helps more with pain and jaw tension. I donât put mine in the microwave i instead just boil some water using my kettle. When the water is boiled I pour it in a bowl on top of the packs and let it sit for 5 mins. Then I use tongs to take the packs out and put them in the wrap! It works perfectly and they stay warm for awhile.I couldnât recommend these more theyâve made my healing so much easier!

Moderate performance
A bit too insulated to allow a lot of heat/cool transfer so itâs been my 2nd jaw wrap once I needed less icing about a week post-op. Highest quality part are the ice packs which I can use with the strap I got from the hospital and just whenever I need a nice little ice pack. Also, not totally sure what human shape itâs supposed to fit as those lobes donât curve inward so unless your head is all right angles that wonât really help.

TMJ relief!
I can’t believe I woke up with no jaw pain! I clench my teeth at night and always wake up with a terribly sore jaw which lingers throughout the day. I put this ice pack on last night in bed and fell asleep wearing it. It’s comfortable and secure enough to sleep in. Sometime in the night I woke up, noticed it wasn’t cold anymore, and pulled it off. Miraculously, I woke up this morning to a pain-free jaw!At first it felt like the ice packs were too high on my head, closer to my ears than my chin. But after wearing it for a few minutes, I realized that the cold was reaching further down my face than I originally thought. The packs are very cold, but not painfully so, and stayed cold longer than I expected. Also, I love that it came with 4 ice packs so that I can have a cold pair ready at all times. I highly recommend this product!!

Comfort and ease of use
I bought this product thinking it would be easier to ice my face using this following my facelift. What I didnât expect was how much easier it was to use this in place of the ace wrap that they send you home with and you need to keep on 24/7. The wrap kept slipping off, so I just replaced it altogether with this face wrap and everything stays in place. Half of recovery is comfort and this made a huge difference. My first postop visit back to the office I was wearing this, the nurse’s couldnât believe it. They thought it was brilliant! They were definitely going to present it to the surgeon, I will see him in a few days. Canât imagine not using this instead of the Ace wraps. One big suggestion in using this, as you see in the picture, is to put a hair clip in front of it and this will definitely keep it from slipping. It has no effect while sleeping. You can leave it in.

Good for Kids
Purchased this for my son (7yrs) to use after his tonsillectomy surgery. He loved it and religiously used it during recovery. The packs are soft as they are gel like balls so he was comfortable while sleeping. He preferred this one over the hard icepacks. We also used for my daughter (9yrs) when she was fighting a stomach bug and had a high fever. She also preferred this ice pack over others.

I wasnât sure how to rate this, a two or a three. I donât want to be too harsh, because it did help with pain. Butâ¦this thing is weird. I got it for wisdom teeth surgery. The ice packs are long and skinny, so when I put it on it not only soothed my jaw but also froze my ears. Really was no way around that. I wish it was wider and shorter, so it could reach my top and bottom wisdom tooth more easily without going up so high. Secondly, the chin strap needed to be thinner (front of chin to back of chin) and slightly widen the narrow bit (side of chin to other side of chin) so itâs not just this tiny dip. I couldnât bring this thing back far enough under my chin without it strangling me, so I had to angle it at the tip of my chin and angle it towards the back of my head rather than the top. It was very unstable and not the right way to wear it, but it had to be done to make this produce effective. So would I recommend this product? I would not.
