Much Better Option
Luckily, my small dog, Daisy, doesn’t seem to mind the taste of Caniclean Tartar Remover for Dogs, a natural, mild powder made from Wild Irish Seaweed, which helps to remove plaque. I have been sprinkling a small bit on top of her food once or twice a day, and she gobbles it up, especially when I add some soft food to her kibble. The jar is small, but should last for a while, because Daisy does not need a lot. The jar comes with a very small scoop which comes in handy.This natural product seems to be working. I think this is a much better option than dental cleanings at the vet’s office!

Good but not as easy as a chew would be.
I am sure this is good for my dogs, and they eat it if it is mixed in or sprinkled onto moist dog food. I would like it better if it were a tasty dog chew.

I can’t believe this actually worked
When I first saw this product I thought the company had a genius idea offered at the perfect price where people might try it. And it’s cheap enough that if it didn’t work, you wouldn’t be terribly upset. I am very happy to say that this not only works, but it actually started making a noticeable difference in my dog’s teeth after only two weeks of daily use. By the way – the price point is also perfect for continuing use once you figure out that it does work. I’ll be ordering this again and again. Still hasn’t helped the breath, but I’m now a believer. I’m sure with more use, that, too will be better.

Had to mix into food for the pups to injest.
Pups didn’t seem to like the flavor as well as other products I have given them. I have found that I have to mix it into the food rather just sprinkling on top.Will take a while of use to determine effectiveness.

My dogs loved it!
Time will tell if this’ll result in cleaner breath or not, but my dogs SCARFED their food up with only one scoop each, so they obviously love the flavor! Plus it’s seaweed, so even if it doesn’t result in cleaner teeth or better breath, it’s good for them. I’m unsure of the overall value as of right now, because I’ll need to gauge how long this lasts once I’m at a maintenance dose (2 scoops), but so far, $10 doesn’t seem too bad if it works! Will update if it doesn’t work.

these dog dental powders have been great for my dog, this one comes from irish seaweed in the atlantic ocean which doesn’t have the same toxic pollution as other ones.

Safe for cats
Yes, this is safe for cats,but you give them less–like a 1/4 teaspoon for a 12-15 pound cat. Says you’ll see results in 15 weeks. I know that seems like a long time, but my Howie has stomalitis (allergic to plaque buildup on his teeth). There’s no cure for it except steroid shots, which can cause diabetes.Absolutely no way will he let me brush his teeth, and with sore gums, he can’t eat hard dental treats or hard food. So, I’m hoping this helps keep the need for shots to maybe once or twice a year rather than every one or two or three months.

My two dogs do like the taste of this, it’ll take a little bit of time to see if it’s helping on their tartar, but so far they like it.
