I’m very pleased with this adjustable dumbbell set. It includes 8 5lb weights and 7 2.75lb weights that can be combined onto a single barbell, or kept separate to form two individual dumbbells. There’s also a 15.5lb kettlebell that can be assembled as needed. Each piece comes with safety caps to ensure the weights stay in place during use. The barbell’s center is padded for added comfort, helping to protect your hands and palms from discomfort while lifting. The set also includes an instruction manual with assembly instructions, as well as visual guides for various exercises. It even features an illustration of the muscle anatomy of both the front and back of the body. Overall, I believe this set offers great value for the price. While some might prefer weights made of iron or steel, these provide an affordable and reliable alternative that doesn’t sacrifice quality. I think it’s an excellent choice, especially for beginners looking for a versatile workout option.

I am happy with this adjustable dumbell set. It comes with 8 5lb weights, 7 2.75lb weights that can be attached on one barbell that you can assemble or you can keep them separate to make individual dumbbells. In addition you have a 15.5 kettlebell that you can assemble together. Each item has safety caps to keep the weights secure. The center of the barbell is padded making lifting easier on your hands and palms to prevent chaffing. This set comes with an instruction manual that shows you how to make everything and offers some illustrations of various exercises you can do with the weights and there’s even an image of the musclular anatomy of the anterior and posterior sides of the human body. Overall, I think this is a great set that’s very economical. While I can see some people would prefer their weights be made of iron or steel, I think these offer a cheaper alternative without compromising integrity and without breaking the bank. I think this is a very versatile set for a beginner.

Worth it
This is a great set of weights with so much versatility! It is quite quick and easy to change the weights around between the barbell, dumbbells and kettlebells. My kids, my husband and I were all able to use these! They feel very solid and I have no concerns about the weights accidentally coming off. I do like that they cannot accidentally roll (so my toes are safe!) too because the weight isn’t actually round. In my opinion, for a price at this time of $80, you are getting your money’s worth!

Made of Cement and Plastic, Not Iron
In two places, the listing for this product says the weights are made of Iron or Metal. They are not. The plates are made of concrete coated with plastic, which makes them quite large per pound. Also, the bars and turn-locks are made of plastic. The turnlocks do not turn easily, so changing your plates takes longer than it should.
