Great for dumb cats
I never write reviews. When I saw this product I was skeptical but I needed a cheap toy for my roommates cat. After opening this product her cat played with it for hours and then again that morning. He is not very food motivated so I didnât add treats but overall I think if your cat doesnât need extreme things to entertain them, this will be hours of fun. Also I will say he is in his teenage stage of life so he will try to destroy anything.

It makes quite a mess and my cats got bored of it as soon as they ran out of food. They got the food out super quickly so I had to keep refilling it to keep them interested in it. Waste of money for me, but some people’s animals like it.

Broke easily
I was excited to let my cat try this, because of the neat design and function. But a week later he was easily able to break open the plastic piece and it was no longer functional. Also the feathers at the top are attached with a flimsy rod and spring which was stretched right out of the package. So today I had to unfortunately toss it after one week. Do not recommend

cat love this at first went crazy. But she got tired of it and wonât go near it anymore. Not the product fault. She doesnât even try to get the treats out of it. I just chucked this up to dumb cat.

Toy didnât hold up
The toy stem was very flimsy and broke within a couple of days of the cat playing now he wants nothing to do with it so just wasted money. . The interchangeably tops were a great idea but the stem being so flimsy it was difficult to get on and off without concern of breaking. In the end, it i didnât break the stem but it was the cat that broke itâ¦

Great toy til it broke!
My cat is known for breaking her toys! It lasted about a month till she broke it. During that month she was enjoying it, dragged it across the house, and found ways to get treats without moving it around too much. 9/10 cat experience, would buy again.

I had my doubts taking this out of the box, both my cats are over 10 years old, would they even look at this toy?The one cat watched the unboxing with curiosity and batted at the wand toy once it was put together. The unpredictable movement when batted seemed to keep him engaged. Placing a few treats inside I waited to see if he could figure out how to get them out. My cat is very treat motivated but not very bright. It took him about 10 minutes to figure out where and how to hit the base for treats to fall out.It seems durable but really only has my catâs interest now if it has food in it

The cats loved it. It functions as it says. But with 3 kittens it didnât take them long to bend the spring for the stick. It still keeps them occupied but would be better if there was a more durable spring. Very happy with it otherwise.

Iâve got 4 cats, so keeping them entertained can be a challenge. Two are highly food motivated and two are not (and are also quite shy) – so this toy was definitely NOT a hit with the shy, less food motivated cats. It makes quite a bit of noise while being batted around, so they high-tailed it upstairs and hid from the chaos (despite the presence of treats).It WAS more popular with my other two cats. Highly food motivated and inquisitive, they took turns batting and nudging this thing all over the kitchen until it was empty. Unfortunately that didnât take long⦠the lack of adjustability in the treat dispenser means that treats either donât come out at all, or fly out like confetti. Finding perfect sized treats is akin to finding the holy grail⦠itâs just not going to happen. However, Iâve since discovered that a strategically placed piece of duct tape can improve the enjoyment factor of this toy quite a bit, if youâre willing to fiddle a bit.Overall, it needs a treat size adjuster to be useful – but once you solve that problem, braver cats will love it! It is a bit daunting for shyer cats though. Iâm giving it 3 stars. Itâs easy to assemble and fill. I didnât really have to *clean* it, per se – I just wipe it out with a damp cloth and that seems fine. And itâs standing up to quite a bit of abuse so far. But it really needs to be adjustable for treat size.

This is super simple to fill and doesn’t require any “setup” so to speak, unlike other puzzle toys. My cats both seem to enjoy it, and while they were able to figure out quickly how to get the treats out, it’s tricky enough that it’s not just a continuous treat dispenser! Even after they’ve figured it out they still have to bat at it a number of times before they hit it just the right way and treats fall out the hole. For $16 I think this is a great little toy to try out!
