SAVE YOU MONEY!
This product is not a hard plastic but if you are nice to it and don’t you are not rough with it I think it is the best investment for the Litter Genie and here is why:1) Cost for bags: The cost of a refill liner for the Litter Genie comes about to be about $10 a month for me as I have 2 cats. With one half that. If I use my normal stretch trash bags I get for my kitchen anyways it costs me $0.08 a bag to refill it. I am finding after having this for over a month that I went through 1 bag in a month! That means I am saving about $9 A MONTH in bags! This alone was my duh factor2) Yes it is more annoying to replace the bags: BUT, and this is a BIG BUT, I replace my bags about once a month so I don’t mind this. How can this be? That is because the tube cartridges they want you to use do not use all the space the Liter Genie has. a full normal size kitchen bag does. I found I had to shake the Litter Genie a little bit so the “stuff” shifted deeper into the Litter Genie body but worked great.2a) Why was it annoying? You do have to take off the black clip on top where you usually fill the canister in. You then have to line up the bag without the draw string in the clipping part and make sure one side doesn’t have a bunch of the bag on it so it is super thick. This is a small annoyance to me as I replace it so infrequently that I love it!Plan and simple this thing will pay for itself in 2 months. I found it easy to install and easy to use. I would say if you have a Litter Genie you NEED to buy this!

Works well and is definitely cheaper than Genie refills
This is great! I have 2 cats who I think would win a pee/poop competition…since I need to empty the litter genie frequently. This is my second purchase of the Dooli adapter, and I use the Dooli brand refills. No odor, no mess!

Works like it should. Could work better though. The bag slips quite a bit with this item. Maybe the plastic piece could be a bit stronger so the plastic bag won’t have to be fixed like 2 days in

Wish I had found this product sooner as I have been buying Litter Genie brand refills for years! This adapter works great with the Litter Genie pail and is easy to install. I also bought the dooli brand roll of 25 bags because I found regular plastic bags do not trap odor like the heavier ply plastic bags. Hopefully this bag adapter holds up for some time as it will cut down on the plastic waste compared to the original Litter Genie replacement cartridges. Also more cost effective than the Litter Genie refills.

I wish I had gotten it sooner!
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I am so glad I got this. I’ve been using compostable trash bags to scoop my cats litter into, and it was such a pain trying to work with the original inserts so I could.I wish I had bought this sooner, it would have saved a lot of time and frustration. It fits in perfectly and fitting the bag in is a breeze compared to the old way I was doing it. It holds the bag tightly and doesn’t budge, when you open the trap door to let the waste fall into the pit it slides right down and the bag doesn’t bunch up, stretch, or tear (unless you overfill it of course).Something I have recently been doing, before I got this insert, is placing those little baking soda boxes at the bottom of the Litter Genie. It helps with any smells and also helps support the bag (and give it that bit of extra length) in case it gets a little too full without me noticing.If you are even kind-of considering getting this item, I highly recommend it!

DOESN’T WORK WITH BAG REFILLS FOR LITTER GENIE
This technically fits a litter genie but it doesn’t work with any litter genie type product refills. It is WAY too shallow to put the refill bags – the lid can’t close at all. It pretty much would only work with a single garbage bag. Not what I thought it was for, so it didn’t fit any of my needs and I returned it. The description should make it clear what it will work with. The whole point of why I got a litter genie is to have a ‘roll’ of bags (so I don’t have to install a new bag all the time) and to enclose the smell of the waste. Its a shame since I thought it was fairly well made and would a great idea since its fairly hard to shove the refill bags into an empty refill cartridge.

Definitely Better & Less Wasteful Than Brand Name Refills
These are great! So much less plastic to throw away each time you have to refill your Litter Genie.You put the reusable adapter into the same area youâd but a new refill. That adapter holds each individual bag in place. This isn’t a long bag of plastic that you cut when the Litter Genie is full, hoping you cut the right amount to be able to tie it off but not so much that you are using up a refill too quickly by wasting any.The bags come in a box and pop out of the top, much like a box of freezer bags, and you take a bag when itâs time to refill & put it in your Litter Genie. The bags are all connected; just tear at the perforation.My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the bags slightly wider and/or longer, to make it easier to secure the bag in place. Also, the plastic adapter necessary to make the Litter Genie does make it slightly harder to open the lid of the Litter Genie, but it’s a minor nuisance, and I suspect it needs to be just as it is to be functional. But if it could be redesigned to eliminate that, this would be an even better product.

Litter genie XL bin ordered from Amazon . Came from US as not sold in UK. Perfect. This adapter however DOES NOT FIT . I tried cutting it down with craft knife as it was very expensive. Threw it in the bin! Do not buy!

We bought the litter genie but didnt like the waste and cost of their refill bags. We bought plastic free compostable bags but they unsurprisingly kept falling down. Bought this to fix that issue and it works perfectly. I had this shipped to Australia and it only took 8 days.
