Works and looks great
I’ve purchased both the short and long versions, and they work and look great. These pads work well with corners, and covered up the existing damage. At first my cat did not want to scratch them, but eventually came around to using them. Either way, it’s a win-win while covering up the damage.The little thumbscrews take some practice but once you understand the motion needed, they’re easy. They leave strain on your fingers afterwards, but easy to latch in. I’ve found that screwing them over the ‘hump’ of the weave is easiest.The same amount of screws are sent per pad whether it’s big or small. Thankfully, the amount is overkill for the small pads.

Great Protection for Couch Corners, As Advertised
This cat scratching furniture protector is definitely doing the trick by protecting our couch corners from our cat’s claws. The material is sturdy, and it stays in place well. The only reason Iâm giving it 4 stars is that I wish there were more color options to better match the rest of my furniture. That would make it perfect for blending in with different décor. Overall, it’s a good solution for keeping furniture safe from scratches, and Iâm happy with the protection it provides after about 2 months of use.

Works but donât like the pins it came with
My cat loves to scratch at the corner of my bed frame & didnât want her ruining the fabric. Bought these but didnât like the spiral pins that came with them to put the mat in place. They didnât hold very well. I ended up using fabric adhesive. The mats are long and sturdy.

Double check the size! These are smaller than I thought, and my cat reaches right above them to scratch the top of the couch arm.

Bad Odor that won’t go away.
I aired them over night outside. Next day I washed and dried them outside and they still give off a very bad odor. The smell will keep you up at night and the cats were not happy with the smell either. I had to bag and toss out.

Finally an elegant solution for protecting the couch from the cat’s constant scratching! We tried the double-sided tape products but they looked gross. We tried setting up scratching posts near the couch but the cat always managed to scratch around them. This products looks nice-ish, way better than the tape, and actually works. Yay.
