This Carseat is Phenomenal!
Such high quality in every aspect of this product: it’s super easy to use with or without the base, it feels really safe for our son to ride in, and the newborn insert is great and so soft. We use it with a BOB Revolution Flex stroller w/adapter and it is so nice to go on walks with. Highly recommend this seat to anyone wanting the best of the best for their kid!

Worth the investment
This seat is well worth the investment to have something that is extremely safe, easy to use, looks sharp, and will outlast other systems with its slightly higher weight rating. The learning curve on using this seat is very easy, and installation is a snap once youâve sorted out the latch points in your vehicle for the base, which is included. There are also easy-to-follow instructions for installation without the base, if you may be traveling in someone elseâs vehicle. The interoperability with stroller systems is very nice as well. The sun shade is nice and much bigger than expected and does a very good job of protecting our girl from the sun, especially in combination with the stroller system: the two combined interlock and provide 100% coverage. The seat is going to start showing markings quickly: every bump and every rub will leave a mark, but it is cosmetic and isnât a big deal, and most can be cleaned off with a damp rag. Overall, the travel system is a solid set and a good choice for people willing to spend the money for a solid, reliable, and safe system over a bargain product.The major con is that it is a little large: while it isnât too heavy, the size and latch positioning make it a little difficult to take out of smaller cars. Our mid-size sedan requires us to move the passenger seat back and forth to accommodate space to unlatch the car seat. However, this is a trade off we expected for getting a car seat designed to last longer, and so it isnât something I would lower a rating because of. It alto requires two hands to hit two switches in order to adjust the handle position, and the handle is a tight fit over the sun shade, but these issues really only occur when the seat is empty or else youâre finishing putting it in or about to take it out of the car, in which case you should have both hands free anyway. Again, the safety this adds is f the handle not accidentally swinging free while carrying it outweighs the challenge this provides.

When researching carseats for our firstborn, I really appreciated the quality in the Chicco options. I started out with the Chicco Keyfit and my daughter screamed the entire time she was in her car seat. I realized that the Keyfit had a ledge in the back of the seat that was uncomfortable for her and I bought the Keyfit35. What an upgrade! This car seat is a luxury ride and my daughter has started to enjoy her car trips! She will also be able to use it for a long time due to the higher weight and length limit unlike the regular Keyfit. If you are looking between the Keyfit and Keyfit35, I would highly recommend investing in the Keyfit35!

Safe & Perfect for Us
I bought this car seat after choosing a cheaper option that did not fit well in our car (Safety 1st LTX.) The Chicco KeyFit 35 was MUCH easier to install, was perfectly level, and fit really well. Overall it seemed sturdier and safer than our first pick. This car seat is worth spending a little more money to get something safe, easy to install, and quality. We have a 2013 Ford Escape and installed in the middle back seat.
