I got one of these for a rear seat power port for my truck, haven’t had to actually use it yet, however, it was very easy to install, and so far is a pretty solid unit.Will definitely order another one for my Fiance’s car.

Mounted under the upper cabinets in Scamp camper. Works great.
Was easy to mount and wire up since 12v was right there for an inside light. Haven’t used the 12v cigarette lighter type outlet much but frequently use the USB ports for charging with no issues. I didn’t like the blue power indicator light at first but turns out it’s a great night-light for the small camper.

I ordered 2 of these devices to provide more USB charger ports in my car for our 10 day vacation. We had 8 devices requiring USB charging ports. We plugged and 2 USB dual port cigarette lighter converters to get the 8 ports. The device worked well during the trip. Be careful and do not apply too much torque to your mounting screws so that you don’t crack the plastic. The device is well constructed but it is still plastic. The devices arrived on time and were adequately packaged.

Well, first off. It’s decent. The 12v outlet was standard and reliable. However, the usb switch board had failed after the second time we turned it on. It made a very audible pop sound. So get it for the 12v not usb.

Used it to add USB charging ability to vintage truck. Blue light is on when power is set to it so you know it’s getting power. Seems to be well constructed. Installed and working. Good item.

It does what it claims; easy to install, supplies about 1amp of running/charging current. One downside is that the 5V regulator produces radio frequency interference in the FM radio band that can be a problem in fringe reception areas.
