Lasts forever, and I actually like the taste
I want to minimize my carbs for breakfast, but I can’t stand how sweet other protein powders are – so many artificial ingredients! But this is just pea protein, nothing else! I love the taste – mixed with a cup of milk it’s just right. Slightly savory, no sweetness, and perfect for a meal replacement. But I get that it’s not for everyone. On the plus side, 5lbs lasts forever at 2 scoops a serving, so well worth the price.

Good protein source
Edit- can someone PLEASE HELP ME?? I bought like 3 bags of this and the first two were good and it tasted more substantial. Now this third bag I got looks thin? Like the powder is more thinner and even when shaking, itâs like thin. Taste like nothing, itâs mixing well yes, but it doesnât taste like it used to. It has way more bubbles in it. I was wondering if the powder was not good. As if they didnât add all the protein or it is simply due to their factory process. They may have just milled the powder finer, but still. I relay on this protein to add to my calories since in a bad eater and idk if this is cut or something. PLEASE HELP. I need to be getting my calories, but I donât know if this is good. It might be more finely milled or I may have gotten a faulty bag. Please help!!!!!!I am lazy and donât like to make food, so I just supplement with this as I eat food. It helps me feel full faster and it keeps me going. It is a bit hard to mix if you donât do it right, I suggest you do water and then protein in top to get a better mix, but other than that itâs good. It was cheaper the first time I bought it and it keeps increasing price, which is disappointing. I think it increased by 8-10 dollars or so?? So annoying. But itâs a good protein source and it has 27 g of protein in each serving.

A good value
Although low in methionine (but I can get that from other foods), Deal pea protein powder is a good, bland-tasting, non-soy, plant based protein to supplement dietary protein intake and fairly economical to use.

Gritty and doesn’t mix well with water but cost effective
The powder doesn’t mix well with water. It does mi, but it well with chocolate almond milk though. I am out of that right now and am using water and Hershey syrup which is passable. It’s very gritty with water.11/1/2024Tried with cows milk today and it mixes better than water but not as well as almond milk. Still added hershey’s syrup to make it taste bearable.

Hard to digest – GI problems
I normally tolerate most any food I eat, but when I started using this product I began to have GI issues (bloat, cramps, diarrhea) at first I thought it could not be the protein powder, but after a month of using the product I decided to stop taking the protein to see what would happen. Surprisingly, things settled down in my gut, but then after a few days I thought it couldn’t possibly be the protein powder. So I tried using the protein again and now I have the same GI related problems. For whatever reason, this product does not sit well with me.The price for the product was amazingly inexpensive, which is one reason I selected it. But at the expense of GI issues, it wasn’t worth it for me.Updated Information: I was subsequently contacted by the seller of this product and was offered a full refund. That is impressive.

You Can Taste the Pea-ness
It tastes like pea, and itâs not for me. It gets thicker over time in the cup.I think this could great as an ingredient to add to a smoothie with a bunch of other stuff in it. I donât recommend it as a standalone drink mix.Iâm not a picky eater. I thought I was cool enough to switch to this cost effective powder from a popular chocolate mix. I thought I could add some chocolate syrup and be good. I was incorrect.

Great price, great quality
This stuff isnt as neutral as some other more expensive brands, but its savory, slightly vegetably taste grew on me and i think i actually prefer it now. However, its flavor is mild enough to easily mask if you plan on using it to make shakes with flavorings like vanilla, chocolate, etc.Im a strict soy-free vegan, and pea protein hits me like meat. That is to say, it feels “complete”. It seems to provide what my body needs in a form my body can actually use, and it doesnt bother my stomach. Its also a decent source of iron.I take about 60grams a day, and 100+ when im bulking up lifting weights.
